I'd listen to v1k1ng1001 on this matter for the most part.
What clearos have you tried that you found unsatisfactory?
Personally, I started with carto tanks. Used them for 2 years. Mostly because when I first started vaping, I tried a few low end clearos and they we're complete junk.
So I just kept using carto tanks. Cartomizers really aren't that expensive and it's easy enough to prime them and set them up in your tank. But I always ordered a LOT if cartos at once. I never had any problems in two years until the last batch I ordered. Out of 30 cartos, 12 of them were duds. I found this so frustrating, I said screw carto tanks, I'm moving on.
So I looked around, watched some YouTube reviews, asked for consumer input here on ECF, etc.... and bought two clearomizers. A Kanger Aerotank Mega and an Aspire Nautilus. Both of these, in my opinion anyway, hit just as good as carto tanks. And Aspire just released their new BVC heads... which are supposedly out of this world good.
Basically, I'm saying don't throw out the idea of clearos too quickly. The right ones are definitely worth a shot.
Like v1k1ng1001 said, try something like the ProTank 3 from Kanger. They also have an Aerotank Mini (the smaller version of mine) and now there's even a Nautilus Mini.
I'd definitely give one of those a shot. Especially the Aerotank or Nautilus minis. If you try one of those and aren't satisfied, there's got to be a problem with your battery... maybe an MVP v2 if you're on a budget.
The Aerotank and Nautilus aren't the cheapest clearos out there, but honestly you get what you pay for more times than not.
If you're absolutely determined to switch to carto tanks, I've never personally used a TANK made by Smoktech. They make a good variety of well priced cartomizers that you'll want to use in your carto tank, but for the tank itself, especially if you're on a budget, buy your tank from IBTanked. Great quality and very tough tanks for a very low price. I still have 6 of them, and 4 tanks from Phiniac, which I love, but they're far from cheap compared to most.
