Hey guys so I've been vaping about a month now on a standard 510 and I'm getting pretty jealous every time I watch a youtube video with someone puffin on a giant thing with mammoth clouds of vapor and all the crazy long battery life I've read about. Payday is coming up. I'm saving like 200 bucks a month now from ditching analogs so I can afford it. I want to upgrade but I don't really know what I'm doing. I was looking at the Ego kit or maybe this Boge Revolution V2. Smart choices? I really don't know. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Depends on what you're looking for - something that looks like a cigarette or something that looks like a walkie talkie or a car battery? Personally, I use the KR808D-1 and though it's not as large as some other PV's out there, it does produce a crapton of vapor, depending on the juice mix (I like 80PG/20VG) and the cartomizer (VOLT or Bloog, hands down best cartomizers I've ever used). Two 2-second drags out of this setup and I'm blowing clouds. It's a two piece design and looks like an analog cigarette.

Isn't the 808d-1 the same kind of setup I already have with my 501? I was trying to get something with a battery that lasts alot longer hours and vapes like a champ and hopefully brings out the most flavor possible from my juices. I wouldn't really mind a "walkie talkie" sort of thing but something shaped like a cigarette I guess would be more convenient. Does the Ego have much difference from the standard batts besides battery life? Does it vape alot better? I've never tried anything low resistance yet.

anything 3.7 .... ego or riva, with a 306 atty is crazy good hit, if you drip....smoketech clear cartomizer if you prefer carts....both are excellant.
if you want a mod there are a ton to pick from, my personal favorite is from chad, if you want higher voltage, the bullet is built like a tank, and he sells his stuff at altsmoke.

i vape with a riva i bought from liberty flights, good deal on them, and an Alpha from chad at altsmoke :).

Egos are very decent for the price you won't get hurt. You might consider also picking up the vv ego passthrough from gotvapes. They're out of stock right now but you can have them notify you when they get back in and they're only about 25 bucks.

Yes. That seems like the next logical step to me. Like you said, you're saving a .... load of money not smoking so progress at your own pace. You're going to live longer now :) so there's plenty of tine for all the high voltage, variable voltage, bottom feeders, top feeders and tanks. Take your time. Enjoy the ride.
BTW, for my two cents, a good tank system beats a juice feeder any day. ;)

Also, I saved every vape related receipt for my first year (Feb. '10 - Feb. '11) and compared the total to what I would have spent on cigs. I saved $2,100.00. I bought myself a new LED big screen and wireless router for a one year smoke free present. :)

since your going with the ego (good choice) please try out the 306 atty with it, WHOLE differet vaping experience and the threads are the same :) you will need a separate drip tip for it, but it is worth it I PROMISE....altsmoke.com is super fast shippers, E-Liquid and Electronic Cigarette Shop - Category Listings has lots to pick from, and Zen Cart!, The Art of E-commerce is definitely the cheapest and has free shipping ;) also be sure to check here for coupon codes, you can save yourself a little money http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...iscussion/146219-coupon-code-master-list.html good luck :)

i'm kind of more of a cartomizer fan with the 510 I have. i would imagine the atty's on ego probably work alot better do you think atty's are the way to go with egos? And I've been looking at some vid reviews of the E-Power and I think I might even like that better. One device to carry around instead of two

Other Places
I have a Boge and it's okay. Nothing to rave about.

If you want an excellent PV with a great warranty and super customer service, I suggest going variable voltage with the new Buzz Pro from notcigs.com. Once you go VV, you won't go back. I'm the proud owner of 6 Buzz's, 5 of which are the old version and still kickin' like new.

For another excellent PV that my hubby uses, he recommends the ProVari with extended 18650 cap. He drives cross country and with 5 batteries out on the road, he doesn't worry about charging for a week. He brings them home for me to do it...LOL. He has the brushed looking one (the original) and a black one.

Now, if you want to stick with just 3.7V or possibly 6V, I suggest the Prodigy V3.1. All mechanical and hits hard. I use low resistance on these and never had a misfire yet. Can be obtained at puresmoker.com.

Sweet guys thanks for all the advice. Anybody know a good place I can get an Ego kit with like 900 or 1000mah that comes with a passthrough? Or do passthrough's always have to be bought separately?

I like to buy from cignot.com they offer color choices and the option for a 1000mah battery on the ego-t

I just bought a ego-t tank style b and have to say I really like it better then cartos

I think you have to buy the passthrough seperate. I'd get a small kit and maybe pick up a passthrough later. Liberty flights has the best price for Joye Egos and Rivas that I know of. I'd wait till gotvapes got the variable volt back in for the pass through but I believe they have regular ego passthroughs in stock. I would think Liberty Flights wouldcarry the regular ego pas throughs also.

If you're upgrading from a 510 all you really have to have is the battery and chargeror the passthrough and the cone if you want one. Your cartos will go right on your ego.
