I think I'm finally due for an upgrade on my vaping system but I don't know where to start.

I'm really attached to my CE5 clearomizers so I'd like something that can work with those comfortably.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What are you using now? I'm gonna advise an MVP2 because it can handle 510/eGo style toppers. It's vv/vw, has a 2600mAh internal battery, a puff counter, and it can charge your phone and other devices. They can be found for $40 if you look around. I've had mine for over a year and it is working great.

I'm currently using a pretty standard eGo battery 1300mAH.

You might have just sold me on charging my phone. Can the internal battery be replaced or will i have to buy a whole new unit when it fails?

After having looked into that, the answer is no but I'm still interested.

I want to dig around some more to see if there's something that has a replaceable battery option as well as fitting my tanks.

What about a VAMO 5? It's VV & VW with a replaceable battery and a nice display. I'm looking at about $90 out the door with two 2250 batteries and a charger. any reason not to trust this brand?

Also, how do I know whether to go with flat top or button top batteries? That's never been an option for me in the past.

I prefer the MVP 2 to the Vamo. It would be a nice upgrade for you and a versatile piece of kit that you will not soon outgrow. Quality construction, light with a very, very clean power output signal. And, it can be had for $40 w/out having to pay for batteries and charger.

As a Vamo owner, I would never buy one again--poor build quality, soft threads, rattlesnaking power output signal etc. If I were shopping tube mods, I'd up my budget to $80 or so and look a the Sigleis or the new innokin SVD 2.0. Also budget for batteries and a charger. But then again, you're not going to need that much snort to power your clearos.

How long can I expect the MVP 2 to last me? I have historically bad luck with vaporizer batteries. Probably because I've been buying batteries on the cheap but I'm more cautious now.

I found several sites selling the MVP 2 for $50. Where is it going for $40?

Funny, I actually found them to have the best price after digging around on my own and ordered one in blue. I'm really impatient when I get an idea in my head.

Glad I stumbled in the right direction on that one. Thanks guys.

Side note:
I'm really impressed, by both the pass through ability and the phone charging thing. So many times I've been out and about on a long day and my phone dies when I need it most. I've always wanted to be able to drain one device in favor of another. Imagine how useful it would be in a real emergency if all devices were like that.

Yeah its kind of a Swiss army knife of a mod. Very convenient and handy when traveling.
