Got my 1L of nic from HL today, and 1L from NN yesterday.
Ive never bought nor had this much nic before, lol (I usually just buy 250ml at a time or every few years).
For me, this is a 16year supply (32year, if I succeed to cut my nic-strength in half).
Recently arrived is also 4L of VG and 2L PG... should last for a few years.

Only thing I was hesitant on, in buying all that nic, is will it really last that long in the freezer without going bad?

Also, is it really necessary to re-bottle them into glass?
Do the amber plastic bottles NN uses, or the brown bottles HL uses, really leach over time?
I could be wrong, but, I don't think nic nor PG is that chemically caustic nor acidic to affect plastic..?

I've always just left them in their original amber plastic bottles (although, I only got 250ml sizes in the past, which gets used relatively quickly)

I have no problem re-bottling them to glass (super easy job)... but also, really hesitant to do so, because it'll introduce air/oxygen into the bottles/nic.

I've noticed my NN bottle has a slight vacuum (the bottle's sides sucked-in/concaved very slightly, the day after I put it in the freezer), which is good in terms of less oxygen... but I really don't wanna pop that cap/vacuum, esp just to re-bottle.

If you do decide to decant into glass, see my blog post for links to the best prices on amber boston rounds I ever found.

I know that many are holding out hope that outfits like fasttech will somehow circumvent the system and continue with business as usual .. and, I sincerely hope that works out ..

Me, I'm simply going to repeat what I've said before .. buy your supply .. those of us that have been in this Lifestyle for any length of time, saw the writing on the wall and planned accordingly ..

Do it now .. the clock is ticking ..

Just got an email from Vappora.com with this info

“In addition, Kangertech just informed us that the leading carriers (DHL, FedEx, and UPS) are also voluntarily banning international shipments to the US of vaping products in the near future. So even sourcing hardware products will also be challenging, if not impossible.”

Given this info posted a few pages back it makes it less likely FT or any international vape mail will be a viable option. IMHO

There's really a lot of factors to that question. We all know PET / BPA leech. It might be a question of the solubility of the specific polymer used in water/VG/PG, the pH, and how changes to such things - heat, time, UV light, if there's polymerization as things like Co2/H20 concentrations rise over time and how does that change the equation.

Even fairly "corrosion resistant" aluminum leeches into soft drinks, although its entirely negligible in terms of effects on health.

Maybe "food safe" plastics leech but they're not harmful in typical use case, like aluminum. But given the track record and the fact it's considered an environmental contaminant with wide ranging effects on life & biodiversity I'd say better to be safe than sorry. Risk only increases for contamination over time and talking about storing something for decades it's a definite concern.

Plus we're inhaling it. Very different from digestion.

FYI I found some wine preserver (Carbon Dioxide, Nitrogen, Argon) which can be used to displace oxygen and further preserve your nic. I haven't decided if it's a necessary step to take or not, but it couldn't hurt. https://www.amazon.com/Private-Pres...keywords=wine+preserver&qid=1615956132&sr=8-6

So I stopped in to my local tobacco/gift shop - And he always had a few vape items - Kazoom! he now has at least 25% of the shop filled with vape devices and juices.

Of course I ran the my idea of him being a middleman for online orders we place online with us picking up in his store
- And while I was standing there for about 15 minutes he made about 8 quick sales!
He didn't seem too interested - First problem even he is currently having shipping problems; Second, he only buys from one wholesaler - Claims an idea such as mine could cause him licensing problems with the state, which if probably true - And he doesn't do any online buying or selling [Why should he if his business is going well?}.
Any rate I bought something from him a bottle of 'smooth' 3% from 'kilo' never heard of them before and someone before me bought a bottle so I thought I would try it - It was about ten bucks for 30ml which is much higher than I'm used to paying, especially now with all the 'going out of business' sales going on online {When VapeWild quit I was getting my favorite juice for 2.50 per 30ml!} - But his prices on his case full of 'Naked' seemed decent {$16 for 60ml bottles, which is a price that some of Naked's juices are retailing for online now}
On the way out I asked him to at least ask his wholesaler about getting items for people and retailing it through his store - He said he would ask!

I was thinking about argon too (since nn uses it); but I never knew it was that easy to use!

I always thought you needed specialized bottling equipment, vacuums, etc!

Keep in mind the plastic bottles are gas permeable which is another reason to resettle your nicotine into glass, to decrease the amount of oxygen that seeps into the nicotine from the bottle itself. There's no point in replacing the oxygen with other gases if you aren't going to transfer into glass. All your fancy gases will just leak out and air and oxygen will leak in.

The number of online shops announcing they are shutting down/stopping shipping by the end of next week is growing quickly. Not many US vendors are flirting with April, as they seem to expect the USPS won't wait much beyond the comment period ending March 22 to publish the rules and stop shipping our life saving vapes.

    Somewhere between here and there
If the handful of vendors that claim to have alternate shipping methods in place do actually stay in business then I think they will constantly be swamped with orders. However, that might not be the case if shipping is 20-30 dollars. I think that would cut out a lot of impulse buys.

There you go again, throwing facts into a perfectly good argument.

Last week I read about a civil war going on in Indiana over renewables. It doesn't affect the cities but it's causing major aggravation in the rural counties, which is most of the State. Counties where agriculture is doing well are passing county regs banning wind and solar even for farmers who really need the money, where agriculture is doing badly the counties are passing regs to encourage it and farmers are jumping on the chance to lease their land for renewables, which upsets their better off neighbors. Both sides are lobbying the State to pass regs favoring their position. Traditionally we have been a coal powered State and as a result we have some of the worst air pollution around. There isn't any solution that would make everybody happy.

I have 100mg nic in the freezer, decanted into glass bottles, wrapped in tin foil and then in fabric .. after 9 years, it is still perfectly good ..
I ordered some pre mixed nic/vg/pg and a small amount of 100mg - I may want to order more.......
    - For the 100mg how should I order it - Just PG as the base???? - Does it stay better that way?

"Call it the skeptic in me, but I just find it hard to believe that any legit outfit on any scale at all, is going to piece together a consumer delivery model for any sort of wide coverage ..

The outfit you refer to was called X, with no actual name disclosed .. they do have some web info ::

Pricing .. you'll notice the 500 packages a day is the minimum ::"

You'll get contradicting responses on how long it will last, PG or VG. I mix heavy towards PG, so get mine that way. If you mix / vape high or "max" VG, get the nic in VG.
