Thoughts on the ban, fasttech, testing the water, etc........
I have enough gear, a mix of mechs and non-mechs, to last decades, probably more than I will need. I mostly squonk, and have a lot of replacement O-rings and misc. parts. For the few tanks I have, I have replacement glass. So for Gear I really have no need for FT.
I sourced my wire and wicking from fasttech, as they were usually the cheapest and had what I wanted. I stocked up and have enough stashed away for a couple of years.
I have enough Nic for 40 years, all other mixing supplies I have sourced from non-vape retailers, most even local.
It is going to suck not having the ability to get the mods/RDAs/RTAs that I want or try a new juice as a treat, but I am prepared. I have already unsubscribed from some Youtube Reviewers overseas so I don't see the high-end mods that I will end up wanting, maybe I will look into picking a few up for myself if I am over on vacation in a few years, but who knows.
I will probably give it 3 to 6 months and then maybe place a small order for wire or wick so at most I will be out $10 and then go from there.
My feelings are the same as @Vapeon4Life and could not agree more with what you posted. I also will be continuing to let my voice be heard. I have emailed/called my representatives every time this has come up in both at my states level and the federal level. I vote against people who support banning vaping and plan on continuing to do so.
I am so grateful to vaping. It got me off cigarettes for good. Everything else I had tried did not work and I tried everything.

don't be ridiculous - it passed the senate unanimously. it had heaven knows how many republican cosponsors - grassley, cornyn, roberts, blunt etc. it's there for everybody to see

If anyone is to "blame" it's vapers as a whole, it should have never gotten this far in the first place. Statistically maybe 2% of those in active knowledgeable vaping communities/businesses ever took an active provaping stance, that's not counting the millions of uninformed vapers across the U.S. Politicians do what politicians do its we the people who have to keep them in check.
She'll probably croak before then. She has to be 107 years old by now.

What they do pay close attention to is, how will this affect the size of my wallet. Our bad luck is that there's a lot of money to be made by shutting down vaping, which I guess is why it's a bipartisan issue. And they know just how to bring the voters along, like you said, "children".

BTW - SB 1523 is something that has been Floating around Washington since about 2016. It just Couldn't gain enough traction for enough House/Senate members to commit to it with their vote. Also note how it was Held at the House Desk after getting thru the Senate.
Unanimous Consent, for some things, is called a "Coward's Vote". And SB 1523 is a Good Example.
Feinstein Isn't going to Run again.
She might not even Finish her term. Feinstein has been in Mental Decline for about the last 5 years.
There is Talk of her Husband (Richard Blum) might being given a Ambassador's Post. Which would be an Easier Out to say that she is going to Step down so she can Move Off-Shore. Then to say she is having a Hard Time Remembering who the Good Guys are supposed to be. And what the Party Line is.

About 10 years ago it had become obvious to me that we were no longer dealing with people worried about the health of smokers - the supposed original motivation of the anti cigarette campaigns - No, they hated all tobacco and nicotine used for anything except medical, and it became obvious that they were not going to stop with cigarettes. So I had written this on another general interest and conspiracy forum.

Once they realized that vaping was much safer than smoking and that even second hand vape is almost harmless, they became more determent than ever to outlaw it - That will be their next step unless.......???
Also, they finally realized that since cigarette smoking really does shorten people's lives - So if you go back to smoking you will not cost them as much money in Medicare, Social Security, etc.

I've followed Feinstein since I was in Santa Rosa doing my Lower Units. And watched her Meteoric Rise after Moscone and Milk were assassinated.
I have said Many thing about how I feel about her here on the ECF. Many got me Very Close to Time Outs or a trip to the Sin Bin. But I never said that I thought she was Inept.
She was one of the Most Cunning and Skillful Politian's in the Modern Era. If Only she had used her Skill for Good and Not for Personal Gain, I might have even been able to respect her.
