I said it before I think, but if this really is the end of online vape shopping, demand will increase for offline vape shops and some of these online stores can transition into that. It's a different ballgame but the same business. But the PMTA thing will be the next issue.

IMO, they're either misinterpreting something and/or are purposely trying to use scare tactics to get people to buy like crazy from them! The PACT act doesn't prohibit sales of vaping products online. What's put people in a tailspin about ordering online is the shipping bans that USPS, UPS, FedEx and DHL will start. There's no problem buying the stuff...just with getting it...as it stands now!

I just spoke to Matt at KangerWholesaleUSA on the phone about the following that they sent just a short while ago, in one of their email newsletters about their Ejuices. I wanted to get clarification that it only applied to their wholesale business customers and NOT to regular customers who buy retail.

mail

I specifically asked Matt if the above had any bearing at all on regular Retail customers. He said, "NO...that only applies to our wholesale customers. We plan to continue selling and shipping to retail customers until the various shipper bans take effect, and are in the process of sourcing alternative delivery options for after they take effect with USPS, UPS, FedEx and DHL."

I said it before I think, but if this really is the end of online vape shopping, demand will increase for offline vape shops and some of these online stores can transition into that. It's a different ballgame but the same business. But the PMTA thing will be the next issue.

Phil and (poor) Dimitri talked about this recently. FWIW, you may enjoy that part of their conversation.

Hey UncleJunkle! :D Long time, no see!
    Thank you for the Info!
I can def afford more Nic with those Prices and the 5% off will be a real help, for sure!
I'm trying to figure out exactly how much Nic Base I can stuff in my Freezer right now:lol:
If freezer space is limited you may want to consider buying 250mg per ml nicotine from River Supply. Each half-liter would only need two 8 oz bottles to store but would yield one and a quarter liters of 100mg per ml strength when diluted. The price is not much more and they also offer free shipping on orders of $50 or more.

The phrase that always ticked me off (and Phil still has it in his slideshow behind him) is, “We vape, we vote”.

    Stop!!

Vote for who?? Even Dimitri finally admitted it.

I was able to fit a liter of nicotine in these 32 oz Boston rounds from Amazon. I store them on their sides and can fit 4 without taking up much of my freezer space. I know it's not ideal storing them on their sides but space is limited. 2 are 100mg/ml and 2 are 250 mg/ml.

    Thanks @UncleJunkle , @zoiDman , @Katya for your answers.
    I agree, it's a bit amber. I can't notice a taste or potency change, albeit I vape at 2.5 to 3mg.

Previously, I would buy multiples of 125ml or 250ml Bottles because I only have the Refrigerator/Freezer in my Apartment (no room for an Aux Freezer:().

@tA71ana, If I were you, I'd get the nic, regardless of freezing it. Yea, freezing is best, but having it is a pretty good thing, too!

    :)

If you Not going to Replace it, I would at least stick it in the Frig.

I agree. @Rossum 's nic base experiment has proven, even if to a small degree, that keeping nic in the fridge is a ton better than at room temps and therefore suitable for at least the shorter long term (like a year or 2?). 2 liters isn't a lot of space if you have a regular size fridge. If you're fridge is absolutely full, there's probably a few things in the back rotting that can be removed to make way for 2 liters of nic :D

Forgive my ignorance, but can someone answer this for me? What happens to nic, stored in a brown glass container, out of direct light? As I understand it, it gets darker, and it might lose some potency?......

Back in 2012 I misplaced a half full 250ml bottle of nic I had purchased from Wizards lab, found it in 2014. It had been stored at room temp in a dark drawer. The nic had turned a light golden brown/amber color, smelled like wet dog and had an strong, musty off taste. In contrast I've also been storing liquid nic in an industrial freezer for almost seven years. It hasn't changed in color, or taste. Looks/tastes exactly the same as when it was placed in the freezer.

I'm heading over to my Vape Store in Town tomorrow to see if they do or would be willing to carry Liquid Nic in Store or whether they would be willing to receive it from another Business.
I have been buying my Liquid Nic from My Freedom Smokes for Years now.
I just picked up another liter from Heartland Vapes. That makes 7 liters in my freezer. Should last me a while, but you never know.

    Agreed.
I can keep it in the Fridge until I can eat up half of the Food in the Freezer and then place them in there.

True, but please don't diminish your food stores just to store nicotine, especially in the times we're living in today. Best to work toward a small dedicated nic freezer.

Just give you an example of energy cost. I have an second fridge that has a top freezer, that's where I store my nic. That fridge is a late 1990s model. It costs me about $10 /mo in electricity. Not too shabby IMHO. I bet a small dedicated freezer will consumer half that, or thereabouts, and not eat into your food stores.

Yeah, my Apartment is kinda small and I literally have no where to put even a Small Freezer.
Actually, half of my Freezer packed will actually last quite a while since its just me.
Most of my Foodstuffs are Dry or Canned and I have plenty of that too, so no worries there:D
Actually, using only half of the Freezer space may actually be good since I tend to forget what is in the very back of the Freezer and by the time I pull it out its freezer - burned (ew).
Having half the space would force me to rotate what's in there more often, lol.

I canned (pressure canned) much of what was in my freezer when I saw the storm coming in. So no issues for other things I need to keep in the freezer. I am slowly moving towards the majority of our food supply not needing refrigeration even if I have to can or dehydrate it myself. In the last year doing that has saved our butts 6 times between hurricanes, ice storms and COVID panic buying around here. Its not a bad plan to not be dependent on power for food. Have you considered how you will cook it without power?
