I got my passthroughs from vaporguys who delivered in two days. They do have the 901 but I don't know what kind it is. I'm having the same trouble you're having with my 801. I don't find the 801s to be compatible.

Okay that's where I had the problem with the passthrough. I bought it from them and I put my 4075 atty on it and it would light up but would not vape so that is what I'm concerned about. All my attys are 4075's

Thank you Jamie and PTJD. Now could you tell me where I can purchase both of these and the information I need to make sure I get the right ones. If you had to choose which one would be better? I checked on line and there seems to be several and I want to make sure I am getting what you are talking about. Sorry if I am being a bother.

This is what I bought, it works and its cheap. (just like me:D)

DealExtreme: $3.80 AA-Battery USB Emergency Backup Power and Charger Pack

I use rechargeable nimh batteries for everything so the charger and batteries were not an expense for me.

I just ordered in one of these myself. I do a lot of backcountry camping and kayaking in the summer and this seems like a good solution to recharging out in the bush. My only concern was this unit doesn't have any kind of regulator, and 4 AA's at 1.5 will work out to 6V. My universal usb charger says it will take an input of 4.5V to 6.5V so I think I should be okay.

Have had my Apc upb10 for a month or so and it does exactly what I wanted. Charges in a few hours, Last a complete day of hard vaping with no problem. havn't actually run out of juice but I charge it at night. I can't really use the little batts anymore. Dead Painfully quickly. Gonna try a pcc so I won't look foolish while at bars and have to explain the wire coming from my mouth... Or the e-cig itself... again...

Jamie, Thank you for getting back to me. I have purchased a duracell and a brand from Radio Shack and neither of them worked for me. That is why I have questions. I am thinking that the output has to be 1000ma is that correct? The other ones I got were 500ma so that may have been the problem. Any further help would be appreciated. Thanks again.

If you use rechargable NiMh batteries instead of alkalines, their voltage is 1.25v each x 4 = 5v

A great source for the *highest* quality NiMh chargers and batteries at decent prices is:
Rechargeable Batteries Battery Chargers Rechargeable Lithium Digital Camera Batteries Maha Ansmann Energizer Sanyo ZTS

I recommend the MH-C204W charger with either Energizer or PowerEx ~2500mAh batteries. I haven't tried them with this application, but I intend to. This charger is a little pricier then others, but it is the best, and will make all the difference for battery performance and life expectancy. (specially with these high-mAh NiMh's) Here's a direct link:

The bonus is that you can use these batteries in all sorts of other devices - unlike the lithiums. It's best to keep them in pairs, but not as critical as with the lithiums.
