I recently bought a KR8 manual usb passthrough from V4L (and loving it so far), and recently bought a usb battery pack with solar charging capability. I received the passthrough before the battery pack, and when the battery came I devised the great idea of being able to plug the passthrough into the battery pack with the provided adapters, but to no avail. Since then, I've figured out that the battery pack is not working (gotta change it out soon), but I still want to go through with the passthrough/battery pack combo. Has anybody out there tried this combination and found a battery pack that works with a passthrough?

The Kensington Power Pack K38021US is known to work well with passthroughs. If you search ECF for "Kensington Passthrough" or "Kensington Passthru" you'll find lots of good comments about it.
Kensington only lists two retailers on their site, but Googling K38021US brings up a lot more stores that sell it.

You can go from 5 volts all the way to 19 volts...in increments.
The question is ...does your passthrough go over 5 volts?
The kensington powerpacks only take 1 amp, and atomizers will continously trip the powerpack.
