I just love looking at those USB cigs! That is beautiful! :hubba: If I didn't already own one (well, 3!), I would definitely be ordering one of those.

Brian, I hope you'll do me a favor. I'm sure yours will work great from your computer but if you try a usb car adapter or wall adapter, would you let me know how it goes? I am still trying to figure out what to do with mine.

Thanks!

Lu

No problem. I have both. I'll also be comparing my Janty USB with the Puresmoker.

Thanks
Brian

I Saw that Steve has the USB Passthrough for the Mini (Dse 901/RN4075) also..What a way to go though.. no Battery. Never have to worry about freakin changing it out at work. Nice one Santa Steve!!!!
Has anyone tried one of these out? I think I've gotta get one, assuming they perform as well as a fresh battery.

I got the penstyle USB from Puresmoker this week, and I'm quite pleased with it as well. This is most certainly going to be my standard in the office, at my desk.

Performance-wise, other than being attached by the cord, this seems identical to using a battery that constantly stays at about 90-95% of fresh-out-of-the-charger power level. Perhaps not as good as those first few drags off a fresh battery (but very close), but much better than a battery after even an hour of being used.

Very nice, Steve. Thanks!

Just got mine. Here's the deal (IMHO of course, I'll leave the science to the more qualified.)

Very good vapor, dependant on the power source. On 2 desktops, great, very much like a 95% battery. On my really crappy laptop with a PCMCIA USB adapter, more like a 60% battery. On my Black and Decker portable power supply, also about 95%.

The pressure switch is fantastic, very easy draw without being hyper sensitive. Does not appear to have any sort of safe feature to prevent you from overheating your atomizer, so watch out Leaford! The switch is comparable with the better batteries I've had. I keep thinking however, that this may end up being the weak link. I hope to get 9-10 months out of it, but that may be over-optimistic.

The led is pretty cool. Very deep red, and sort of a star pattern around where the cord exits the end.

The unit feels very solid overall. Cord is very flexible (a plus for sure) and light (ditto.)

If you want to save your batteries for on the go, this is a great way to do it barring any long term reliability issues with the switch.

BTW - Mine is the penstyle model.

Geez....I was just going to report that Steve had more of these in....then I ordered one and it must have been the last one because they're out of stock again!

Sorry peeps! :sneaky:

Lu

I have 2 now. For some reason, the first wouldn't work with my Puresmoker atomizer. Steve promptly sent a new one. The second wouldn't either. I tried it on my Janty atomizer and it worked. Currently waiting on some new atomizers from Steve to give it another go.
