USB powering issue

I do not own a 901, Kendra, but there are USB pass-throughs specific to that model. The Janty KB battery or USB Pass-through can only be used with an inline automatic or manual Janty switch. You found out quickly what happens if you try to connect an atomizer directly to a KB battery. The only interchangeable part of the Kissbox is the atomizer. You can use most generic pen-style atomizers like the ones you can get from VaporGuys or Puresmoker.

Thanks. I was hoping that was the answer. Besides the customer service issues I've been reading about, the prices seemed astronomical in comparison to the 801 atomizer pricing.

You cannot use a KB USB passthrough with any atomizer without an automatic or manual switch. The KB battery part of the passthrough is ALWAYS on. When you attached the 901, it was firing up non-stop. No wonder it overheated. Common e-cigs like the 901 and most pen-style have automatic pressure switches built into the batteries. When you puff they activate the power. The KB battery has no sitch nor does it have a hole in it. Control of KB batteries and their passthrough comes from the in-line switch (auto or manual).

I have a Janty Kissbox, and the e-cable with inline battery (but I don´t have the dang battery), so... What REAL USB passthrough works with the KB?
I´m growing roots here while waiting to the inline batteries I ordered comes...

the Kissbox atomizers are pen-style devices and should work with any USB pass-through for a pen-style e-cig. I have a USB Pass-through from Puresmoker and can use my Janty atomizer on it. I like that this pass through does not have an inline battery and uses heavier gauge wires.
