I'm using one of those desktop coffee cup "beverage warmers" to warm my DIY juice and speed ageing. I place a beaker of water directly on the hot surface and then put the juice bottle directly in the water. Warms it up nicely and seems to make the juice taste better in a short amount of time. I stir it periodically (manually).

Has anyone else tried this, and can you report your success/failure or suggest other tips?

Cheers

I thought using heat to steep your juices wasn't good?
I think the whole heat idea of it being bad, is the seeping of chemicals from the plastic bottle to the fluid itself. Glass is probably preferred in this method, that and caution. Don't use water any hotter than what you would wash your hands with. At least that's my rule of thumb.

I like the crock pot idea. As long as it doesn't get to hot.
