Using box mods in public

I always use my juice feeder box mod when I'm around. I started to realize that it looks like it could be seen as a different kind of PV. Like a weed vaporizer. Most people don't know about box mods but a lot of people know about vaporizers. My college is a non-smoking campus and I always use my PV around outside. I've never seen anyone else with a PV or even smoking a cig at school. I'm new to this campus so I don't want to use it inside yet but no one has said anything when I use it.

Why should they think it is an "illegal substance device" of some kind?
You can most certainly smell those coming and those reek anyway.
I just explain, if anyone comes up to me to ask me "what are you doing?"
I tell them it's a personal vaporizer and what looks like smoke, is only water vapor and flavorings.
No more, no less, unless they ask specifically.

Cigar Babe the planet is infested with small minded people...Around these parts anyway...Just last evening I was vaping at the Mickey D's drive thru when the cashier informed me I was gonna get locked up for doing that....I told her what it was and then had too field strip my Buzz to prove there wasn't a cigarette inside...I even showed her the juice...As a smoker she was very interested and even called other smokers over too see it...She looked too me to be a little soon to deliever...YEAH pregnant and smoking...Did I mention the infestation..??? Actually that's ignorance not small mindedness...I guess my appearance does intimidate the general public somewhat...but for the 10 millionth time.....NO that's not what it is....it's an electronic cigarette!!!!!!!!!!! I reek in private...

I use my REO mini all the time outside. If I do get a look it's alway hey that smells really good or what is that? So it's been a positive experience for me

Use the ali in bars all the time.Biggest issue is to not leave your box mod out of your sight.Not a night goes by without someone looking at it like its the golden child.

I use my box mods exclusively since my 510 batteries died, lol! I could care less what anybody "thinks" it is. If they want to know, they can ask and I'll tell them. Most people seem to not even notice though. Plus, I can mess with other drivers at stop lights. Just hold it out the window right when the light is about to change and press the button, lol.

But seriously, my coworkers rag me about my detonator ( GLV2 ), have any of you gotten a strange look and then that person trying to covertly use their cell phone? ... while quickly walking away maybe...

Smoking is so unpopular, it might not matter whether you have vapor or smoke coming from your lips. I had someone tell me vaping was 'just as bad' and, "You ARE smoking as far as I'm concerned!" Whatever. There's always a self righteous fool about, right?

I love box mods because they have buttons that can be discreetly activated without having to maneuver the wrist or thumb to any awkward or attention calling position.

Your best bet is to be open and respectful. Skulking or trying to hide your vaping equipment just makes you look like you're doing something wrong. The truly curious will ask and the rest - especially non-smokers - don't even want to know.
