Uwell Crown IV

So I’ve been a fan of the original crown tank and have used it since it’s inception. I liked it so much I saw no need to get the crown 2, crown 3, or valeyrian tanks. So now Uwell comes out with the Crown 4 and it has my attention. The coils are made of 904l stainless steel, 304 SS, and iron-chromium-aluminum. Well I know nothing about 904 SS or FeCrAl for coil wire. I’m definitely interested so this new tank and it’s coils deserves a thread so we can get real reviews from common folk. It’s pretty new so I doubt many have used it yet but if you do please share your experiences with it and any opinions on these new exotic wired coils.

From what I’ve heard it is an extension of the crown3 rather than the crown1. No MTL option at all.

Plug in coils... I'm out. I've had nothing but connectivity troubles wit plug in coils. Oh, and no RBA...

Did I also read that it's 28 mm wide? Wouldn't you need a big mod to put it on? Curious about the coils, but not enough to purchase a huge mod...

Parameters Size: 28 mm diameter. 5/6 ml capacity.

Coil type: Dual SS904L Coil 0.2ohm (70-80W)
Dual SS904L Coil 0.4ohm (60-70W)
SS304 UN1 Coil 0.25ohm (55-65W)
FeCrAl UN2 Coil 0.23ohm (60-70W)

The Crown 4 won't be for me. The coils offered are way over my desired 30 watt range. I'll stick with the original Crown for as long as they make coils for it.

It's only 25.5 mm at base, like most tanks these days the bubble glass is what's wider, c'mon guys use your head more than just a hat rack.

Thank you, I feel kinda dumb for missing that. Still no experience with 904 so if anyone is using these coils what’s your opinion of them?

I have the Crown II. Two full size and two minis. Have had them since they were first released. Also have several other "top" tanks. The others mostly sit in a drawer, used every few weeks only because I have coils for them.
I keep going back to my Crowns. The others are good tanks but the Crowns are great tanks. Great flavor, great clouds. I doubt I'll get the new Crown 4. The huge size, and my preferred 30-40 watt use will keep me away.

since when are you forced to use coils at recommended wattages?
a .4 coil should do fine at 30 watts.
