Is it still the same with flavours after a couple of days because the coils in the crown take a while to break in.
They do. I vape enough, after about a tank the flavor improves. The two atties are on par with each other, that I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. The Herk and the Crown are top notch, and you can't go wrong with either. Top fill for some would be a swaying factor for sure. I've had no issues from either. Another plus on the Crown, is they give you extra O-rings, and the Herk doesn't. Which to me, it's silly not too!

Yeah I believe they just added the Ni coil. I can't believe I have finally bought one, I love my TFV4 but it is just to intense for an all day vape.. What are your thoughts on the 0.5ohm, still great flavour or would I just be better vaping it at a lower wattage on the 0.25?

I will post some pics of the so called "Crown V2" when it comes so you can see.. :thumb: It's looking like it's delayed until Thursday now but I have the Segelei 150w temp control coming tomorrow if anyone is interested.( that was delayed too)

IMO .25

Ok I have some more news for you on the Crown V2 and I can tell you it is 100% correct as it came from a very good source..

The V2 has a new improved air flow system and he said is a much better vape than the older one.. He never gives much away but its interesting news all the same.. ;)

I will know all the details tomorrow as he is phoning me :thumb:

Ok. My Crown just arrived in the mail today from Huff & Puffers. I couldn't find a "v2" marking on it, but it does come with a .25 SS, a .50 SS, and a .15 Ni200. And there is not adjustable air flow in the drip tip (which is good, I hate that) -- but maybe the overall air flow is better. But don't know because I've never tried the original. But solid device and look forward to getting it setup soon.

I agree on the open tips :/

If you got the Ni coil in the pack that is probably "V2" so enjoy :) I checked one of mine that is not opened and it was all .25s and the other box was a .5 and .25's - The Ni coil is the newest, plus RBA that has came along. Start off letting it sit for about 5 minutes filled up then go to 40 for a few puffs then start cranking it up. Watch for spitting at very high wattage.

Yes the juice goes quick but I promise you can almost top fill this tank while driving (not that I recommend that), but it is very painless.

What are you running the .25 up to? 60 or do you go much higher?

120 no dry hits chain vaping 80 vg by 3rd tank full but i like it 80-95 most the time. Today it was 60 watts on a sig 75 and not too shabby ...cool imo but that is personal taste

FINALLY!!!! I have been looking for a device that would give me a true flavor like an HH357 atty, which has always been my benchmark tester. My Crown arrived today and I put the .5 ohm coil in it ( so I can play with it on my mech mods too) and son of a gun. I put a flavor in the tank, and the same flavor in an HH, and the Crown actually tastes BETTER, as long as I do mouth to lung (which is really hard with this tank). I've always viewed a tank as a compromise on flavor for convenience. Not any more! Thanks for the break-in tips Mr. Mann, vaped like a champ right outta the box following your tips.

ONE small problem though. I thought I had a major leak. I could see a lot of air bubbles rising up, and the level of my juice just got LOWER and LOWER. Reminded me of drag racing on Telegraph Rd. in my '72 Grand Torino Cobra Jet, watching the fuel gauge drop at every green light. I inspected the tank, and couldn't find a leak anywhere. Took it off the mod, nothing in the 510 well. But my Blue Raspberry was going SOMEwhere. And what's up with all those bubbles? Decided to throw it under the microscope...

My local BM dripper guy was pretty impressed with the Crown, he let me hit is giant custom coil creation and I was not impressed. While I was sitting there chatting with him he kept fooling with his build, this went on for an hour. I had already vaped 6 ML's on the Crown during this time hahaha.

Right.....Just got off the phone with my supplier, here's what I know, it's a bit difficult for me because I've not owned the Crown tank but anyway...

I can say that Uwell have improved the dual coils, don't ask me how but they have..no spit back...
The afc on the bottom is slightly different but its the overall finish on the tank that has improved a lot..
I've been told its just a much better vape...

Not much detail I know but I can only go off what I've been told..
The best thing I can do is post some pictures tomorrow when the tank arrives and see if you can see any differences..
Really though, we need someone that has the old one and this new one to give us a proper opinion..
Sorry I couldn't of been a bit more help to you guys.

Just a weird update/? I have an Xvostick DNA 40, which will only accept tanks 23mm and under. I was bummed because the Crown wouldn't fit because of the airflow control ring. I got to wondering if the airflow control ring could be removed (I like it wide open anyhow). Then I forgot about that thought. I went take the base off yesterday to put in a new coil, and lo and behold, the base just below the AFC came off, allowing me to remove the AFC ring, put in the new coil, and put it all back together, sans AFC ring. YAY me!!!! I did manage to lose the small spring that keeps the stainless steel ball bearing in place-guess I will have to pick up the V2 when available-YAY me again!!!!

Agree. I just spent a few minutes staring at my Crown (which might be a v2 since it came with a Ni coil) and comparing it visually with all of the pics of the Crown on Google Images. I could see no noticeable differences, so either (a) the "v2" hasn't really changed the main components of the tank, or (b) the changes made in v2 are internal and not visible from the external pics, or (c) I really got a v1 with ni coils thrown in.

Either way, I am not too concerned what version I have - I am confident it will be good. I just haven't had a chance to try it out yet as I wanted to empty my Starre Pro tank first of juice :) But to your point -- it might take someone who has both to do a true visual inspection, inside and out.

Bought mine a couple months ago, it came with the .15 nickel .25 and .5
