If you use the rba deck you can put the LED attached to the posts there. that way there is no modding of your Hex. Ive seen it with drippers quite a lot.

I mean, if ya wanna light it.... :)

No knock on your mod, but you got to be kiddin' about the logo?! Really?

@Rixsta - See the thing is I got 2 of them for $160 shipped :) Yes, I agree with price drops of many great mods these past months they should be $99 every day. I'm sure they will drop the price again, they always do.

Mr. Mann - Yep I agree & that is the logo but everything else was 1st class. I'm sure they will learn for their next V2 or whatever comes. I researched a lot way before the 1 night price drop and the reviews were very favorable (even convicted vapes was a decent review) and they rip up on everything. So I was "in" a month ago, but was NEVER going to pay that insane asking price.

The temp control is just amazing so far, and it seems way smoother than my IPV3 Li. For a guy like me who likes a warmer vape it became my pic over a Red Sigelei 150TC to expand further into TC. I wish them well, I want to see more from them and this FSK chip.

I'm still not convinced TC is all that, but this device is making me give it more consideration.

SPECIFICATIONS

  • Thread Style: 510 connection with full-face push pin & high-tensile spring
  • Wattage Output: 10W – 151W (151W also in TC)
  • Temperature Range: 200 oF – 700 oF (93 oC – 372 oC)
  • Ohm Resistance Range: 0.05Ω - 3Ω
  • Temp/Watt Increment

2 for $160 is more like it..
As for the temp control, I would of thought it was so so seeing as you can't set the resistance.??

As far as I can see it auto locks and I don't know why more info is not available.

I screw on an Ni coil from Crown cold and it reads it at .18 and hit the fire button and it stays at .18 and does not bounce around like I have seen on other devices.

The pre-heat function is working well.

Ah well if it stays constant then it will fine, I've been reading about the pre heat, seems like a dam good idea.

They should be lasting way longer than that, anything from 2 to 3 weeks, even up to a month.
What are you vaping, wattage and how many ml's per day.
If those coils lasted me 5 days I'd sell the tank and buy something else. Something isn't quite right here.
I've never had a coil last me over a week, my maganus coils got changed every 6 days. My RDA gets a new coil almost every day. I'd rather have a great vape all the time then have an OK vape for 2 weeks after the coils getting weak

TFV4 Coils last a month, Starre coils last 3 weeks and I can see the Crown coils lasting around 3 weeks too, there is only a drop in flavor towards the end, at which point, change your coils.. this has been the same pattern for months and months, hell, even the kanger verticals last 2 plus weeks.

What coil are you using in the TFV4? I am thinking about buying this tank, and wonder if it's worth the purchase. Will be tough to top the crown. My juice consumption is through the roof with chain vaping, but I just pulled the trigger on my first DIY order. If I am successful, juice guzzlers will no longer be an issue so I can have as many as I want. Then all I will have to complain about is the price of coils!

Well I'm picking up the crown today so we'll see how those coils go

TFV4 is a good tank, flavor around the same, I do edge the Crown on certain juice mixes though. I have used the quad mainly which lasted a month, my sextuple is still going strong and I expect it to last just as long. What makes me use the Crown more is the airflow, I find it better on the Crown, going back to the TFV4, you notice the difference, so much so I cancelled my pre order of the black TFV4.

Update: I ended up leaving the .2ohm coil in. My preference for less heat was just making the coil take longer to break-in. The flavor has jumped considerably since. Great flavor. On par with my TCT with Citrus juices, and blows it away with the cream/dessert flavors.

Also, I just accidentally had my first Stainless Steel temp control experience...I've been swapping the Crown and TCT back and forth to compare flavor. Forgot to switch back to power mode (IPV D2), and was vaping for about an hour this morning at 475, 35J...absolutely delicious. I'm not 100% clear on if that's an acceptable way of using this coil, but it sure tasted like it was a good idea :)

Looking forward to trying the other two coils.
