Well, I just got it today. So far so good. No glitches, running great in power mode. Have not messed with temp control yet. I don't like Ni at all, and Ti is definitely better, but not as good as SS or Kanthal, at least to my taste buds. I'll give the SS TCR a shot and see if I like it. If not, I'll just stick to power mode.

I had a Boxer. Great mod, just really was not pocket friendly at all with the shape. The Vero seems to be a much better fit for that. Not as convenient as my D2, but not bad at all. I should be getting my Renegade-X box back from Cerakoting in about 2 weeks. Looking forward to running them side by side.

So the dna 200 chip handles the SS coil okay in Power mod without whacking out?

I thought there was a way to load SS temp curve into the DNA 200. Still waiting for my VS 200,but would love to hear if anyone has setup a custom temp setting for the Crown SS.

Has anyone had issues with these coils burning out quickly? I have tried both the .25 SS and the .15 NI200 and both start dry hitting after the 2nd or 3rd tankfull. Have tried 4 SS coils across two packs and 2 NI coils. Only using 55-65W on the .25 and 45J 450F on the NI. Its driving me nuts, all I have heard and read is how great this tank is and I love the top fill and look, but I cant afford to go through coils like this especially when the starre coils last me two weeks easy. The 1st time I ran into the issue was with milkman which I know crushes coils but I have run into this with at least 4 other juices. Last night it was cruising, awesome flavor and vapor, wicking great based on the bubbles coming up after each puff, then this morning the bubbles just stopped, an I have to let it sit 5 min between drags. No leaks, cotton still pretty light in color, I've now burned through 7 coils in 3 weeks unfortunatey.

True that but it would be nice to know that OOB DNA200 functions on these SS coils as any regulated mod would (other than Snowwolf) which seems to whack out and become confused which is prompting my curiosity.

No issues at all. Works great in power mode with the SS coils.

There is. You can upload the SS316L TCR through Escribe. I plan to try it sometime this weekend,. Will definitely let you know.

Matches my experience. The .25 was more durable than the .5

I use the .5 almost exclusively now. I go through 20 - 25 ml a day and the coil lasts just over a week. I replace it every Saturday now.

I could feel it throttling up and down to maintain temp. I'm sure I would get used to it if I had to, bit that's just it, I don't have to.

I am experiencing my 2nd TC rookie attempts this weekend.

1st was Arctic Ni200 on Sig 75, now I am trying a Ti coil TFV4 on LPV3 Li @ 100J. So many people are into temp but I think today's coils are so over kill you can just back down power and rock wonderful vapes. Thanks for the updates!

Hi guys, can this tank be flavorful using 16w to 20w?

Does the RBA perform as well as the stock coils?

If you use the single coil 1.2 ohm heads then yes. I am waiting for my 1st coil to die before I try a build on the RBA.

@ApaNama - I would recommend getting something like a D2. While the Crown 1.2 would work in a 20W device I didn't find it much better than an Atlantis or Kanger coil. The Crown will shine IMO with either the. 5 or . 25 coil but you will need at least a 75W mod for that.

I also have used the 316 TCR for the Crown stainless steel coils and can say it worked reasonably well, however, I too just ended up going back to regular power mode. I wish I was able to understand the TCR curves enough to tweak them because I imagine the stainless steel coils might run a bit better if it was dialed in perfectly (or at least as good as the nickel TCRs are).

Agreed. They have a new "wire wizard" on steam engine, where you basically build the csv file yourself. You need a lot of info though. I would imagine, it would be more accurate if built to the Crown coil specs.

I've been checking every day.
VapeRoyalty's BC page shows it as preorder. It says they'll ship on the 10th.
I'll keep watching everywhere and order wherever (besides FT or Epay) when they're released.
I've seen too many preorder horror shows.
