If you get mild leaking into your Crown's AFC base...
My black Crown is beautiful but was getting juicy in the base area.
I took it apart and saw that the base to tank o-ring was half spun.
I straightened it out and that seems to have fixed it.
Those are some wee o-rings making that seal and they are very round.
It's easy for them to become twisted and I found out that the slightest twist will cause a leak.
There was a mild disturbance in the force but it doesn't take a Jedi to straighten an o-ring.

Ecig.com has Uwell crown in black $18, and silver $16, and I bought 2 packs of Ucrown coils for free shipping. Additional 5% off with promo code Turbo.

UWell Crown Sub Ohm Tank - ecig.com | Electronic Cigarettes
Uwell Crown Ni200 Nickel Coil (4 Pack - 0.15ohm) - ecig.com | Electronic Cigarettes
Finally pulled the trigger. Bought the stainless and the black. I already know how this will play out. I will use it. The coils will go pffft and the tanks will go in my stand with the rest of them. I just can't justify buying coils when I make my own. I won't be buying the rta section. I toss builds into a Billow V2. I seriously doubt one could compare the 2 and find the Billow V2 coming in at the bottom of the totem pole. It is my assumption that the SS coils are what makes this tank shine as far as performance goes. Am I right? So why would someone buy the rta section, toss in a kanthal build, and expect the same performance. The only upside I see to purchasing the rta section is for temp control builds. If I'm wrong, someone please correct me

Anyone order from ecig.com before? Just ordered a ss crown $16.25 & one of each 4pk of coils for $6.40/pk. Much cheaper than Fastech & based in Texas? Free Shipping? Almost too good to be true!

Now I understand it: Ecig.com Insane Price Reduction - Vapes Being Sold at Cost Price
Yup, very awesome company for doing this. I picked up the IPV D2 from them last week and it arrived from TX - CA in 5 days, would've been 4 if not for labor day.

I have a Black tank and rba on order from vaperoyalty. I noticed they raised the price on the rba a day after I ordered mine so I guess I got lucky. Anyway does anyone have any experience with the rba section? I have seen a couple of reviews where they complained about its airflow and juice flow. I figure the airflow can be solved with a vertical coil in the rba. If anyone has done this and could tell me the info would be appreciated. I am also interested in knowing what diameter of SS wire they use in the .25 coils and the coils that come with the rba so that I can play with rebuilding coilheads and using it in the rba when I build it.

Just got my Crown a few hours ago. I'm still playing and experimenting. I may have a reaction to the SS coils but not sure. They tasted funky. Break in??? I love the way the tails catch on the posts. Of course I forgot to close the AFC and you all know what happened when I filled her up. :)

Any who to compare flavors since that's what I primarily chase I through a Kanthal + KGD build on the RBA deck. The tails in the pick just touch the ledge. Wicks like a champ and with my 50/50 mix the flavor might be slightly better than the rest of my toppers. Tons of vapor for my modest needs. Used a 3MM bit with around 5 or 6 wraps for 1.2

These guys still have some heads left but not in all sizes. Never ordered from them but they are cheap.

More experimentation coming.

I posted recently in the general discussion and got a couple of recommendations, which I'll list here, but so far no luck.

I have had nothing but trouble with the 3 Crown tanks I bought from yetivape.

Tanks themselves, build quality etc..? Superb, some of the best I've seen in years of vaping.

But I get constant dry burn hits from ALL THREE. I'm using the 0.25 coils at 72-78watts. All the liquids tried are 65PG/35VG, I've tried them on three mods, my Sigelei 100+, my IPV3Li, and my SnowWolf 200W. I've tried replacing the coils, same thing.

The first 4-5 tanks worked pretty well.. after that? Constant dry burn. I had one user suggest I need a juice that's higher in VG, so I put in one of the few remaining fresh coils and used some sample liquids that are 35PG/65VG I had laying around. Same outcome. First few tanks were great, then I dry burns.

Everyone is raving about this tank, so I refuse to believe this is typical behavior. I must be missing something or doing something wrong, I just have no ideal what it could be. I put this current coil in about 12 hours ago and if I don't let it sit for a bit between hits it's already giving me dry burn. Keep in mind this is NEVER going above 78watts. I'm reading about and seeing youtube hit this thing at 90-100watts giving it no break and claiming to not get a single hint of dry burn.

So I'm just left wondering and having to ask, what could I possibly be doing wrong? 3 tanks, tried changing coils, various juices, 3 mods, the problem HAS to be something I'm doing wrong here...

I have the exact same issue going on, I just don't get why it all of the sudden struggles to wick efficiently. I have tried the .25, .5, and the NI200 coils all with the same issues. I tried a long low and slow break in as well as a hot and heavy just go for it break in with the same results. I've recently noticed that I can get the bubbles to float up if I rotate the tank around, it almost like they are getting trapped and blocking juice flow. I cannot find anything wrong with the machining or Orings but there has to be some sort of vacuum issue but I don't have any leaks either.

Wish I could help you guys. A wild wild thought...

Remove the head
Use a screw driver to push the 510 pin out. In the base. You will feel the o-ring resistence Way out
Install the head
Assemble the Crown
Push the 510 pin on the base in. Mine sits flush

I've given up on the RBA deck. Confirming what someone else said a few pages back. I DO know how to build /lol BUT using the RBA deck:

Leaks out of the air holes when filled. Either top or bottom. Close AFC and then open
Leaks on the base when mounted on my Mod and leaks a small amount when used out of the air holes when used
Filling is sometimes wonky and won't fill but dribbles out

Switched back to the 0.5 SS head and all the issues above went away. Running at about 30 watts with a 50/50 juice. If only I could keep my friggin DNA40 mods in power mode and stop them from switching to TC mode whenever they wish. /lol

Not to worry, time to go find my iTaste MVP 3.0 Pro which is pure power and no TC.

:)
