Yep. On some of my DIY mixes where I know exactly what's in them, including my rather .... PG/VG level calculation, I'm getting a couple of subtle notes in one out of the 3 juices I have vaped with my 0.5 head compared to either my REO, KFL, or Squape. It's interesting and a nice surprise. Time will tell if it's the condition of my buds for a given time of the day or even what I ate but I'm rolling with it.
Someone (F-A) on the previous page mentioned dry hits at 80W even after following the vid exactly. While I don't crank that many watts, I would guess that the next variable to consider is the specific juice that produces this result. Light or dark? PG/VG ratio? What does the vendor say about the juice at high watts? EDIT: I also wouldn't hesitate to experiment with another drip tip. Yes I get it and it's fine with me, blowing huge clouds but a narrower bore drip tip may help you find a nice compromise and avoid dry hits.
Just me 2 cents
