Yep, usually after a couple weeks I just toss it out for better flavor, I've never burned one.

But, see, that's the thing---the flavor has not (really) diminished. For me, a coil dying is noticeable drop-off--so much so that I miss the first taste.

I don't know, I am thinking that I must not be vaping as much anymore because I never once had a Crown coil that lasted close to three weeks without any drop-off. I think keeping track of how many mL gone though and also the time it took to go through it would tell me what's really going on--but who wants to do all that?

This tank has performed VERY well for me, but I never experienced insane coil life like some report. A month? On one head?!!! That was always to out there of for me to imagine. I am on an October coil...this is a trip!

I agree these coils are the best, sure there is a gradual drop off but they just won't die.
Using the stainless here by the way.

I have two Crown subtanks set up on two mods with the .25 coils...I must say I am impressed with these coils still hitting as good as the day I installed them 2 weeks ago..I vape them in rotation with VG max at 75w everyday... Flavor is awesome.. Love the stainless/Japanese cotton used in these coils...they wick fast and never had a dry hit, even chain vaping them, however I do have to refill them often..lol

Anyone here ever get that one coil that just won't die? Sheesh. This is such a good product.
I wish! I'm vaping max vg, with .5 premade coils at 50-60 watts and I refill it 3-4 times a day. So far, I'm getting 3-4 days out of them. I've followed the extremely patient priming guide, even let them sit overnight, with gradual ramp up.

Loving this tank though! Just will be using the RBA section, once I figure out the proper wicking. Not leaking = dry hits. Good hits = leaking.

I think two of the things that can make a coil fade quickly are at play here: obviously the amount of mL run through it, but also the time used to go through that amount. I think it stresses the coils out to be run constantly more so than it does to run the same amount of liquid but stretched out over a longer period. Try what @smacksy does and rotate between two (or some other device). My thinking is that if you give your coils a little bit more rest, you might can get more mL. Just a theory though.

A little off topic here, but I notice you have your Crown on an IPV4. I love the Crown tanks and just bought the IPV4 but the damn thing is messed up. The resistance on all my tanks jumps around like crazy on the thing. I have 3 Crowns and they're fine on my other mods. Its just the IPV4S that is off. I'm in the process of returning it to MVS, just wondering if you had any issues.

Hi, sorry to hear your having issues with your IPV4s..I got these two original IPV4's on pre-order about 7 or 8 months ago when they first got released... No issues at all vaping them everyday.. :)
Out of an abundance of caution I removed the charging boards after hearing they could short out, and also removed the mirror finish on the display strip to brighten it up.. But both mods are still working great...hope you get yours working good too!

I just got mine after a month wait. i am extremely impressed. this is the best designed tank i have ever used. some things i love are:
- the overall aesthetics are amazing. its just a great looking tank.
- i love the gnarling on the air and top fill rings. great touch that makes it a breeze to open even if your hands are wet.
- the top fill is the best on the market IMO. it is so simple and just works. no messing around with complicated mechanisms. just unscrew the top and the opening is easily large enough for your bottles. no mess at all.
- the coils have been great so far. sure they are a pain to get primed but if done properly they are far above average. personally i like some of the tfv4 coils better for their flavor and vapor production but the crown coils are no slouch
- the placement of the feed holes. this is something which i feel is overrated. the juice feed holes on the coils are extremely low in the tank. this means that i can almost fully drain the tank before needing to fill it again. by contrast if you look at something like the TFV4 quad coils in the tank the top feed holes are about 1.5cm from the bottom of the tank when installed. if you just keep one flavor in the tankor rarely change flavors this isnt an issue. however, i if you change flavors you are going to lose 1-2mL of juice each time you empty it out. if you drain it more than your top couple of feed holes will be dry and there is a decent chance you will burn the cotton. with the crown coils no such issue.

Sorry most of my business stays with local B&M
Funny you should say that as I got both of my Crowns at my local B&M. Because I buy my juice there I get five star points every time I make a purchase, so my two Crowns were $10 ea using my points ...not too bad, as I couldn't beat that deal online, lol
