Is this normal for 3 days ,3 tanks later? 50 watts 510° F. Vaping Vape Wild-Fruit Hoops. .15 Ni200,View attachment 501191

wow! 3 tanks? Cotton at the juice holes looks pristine. How does that juice normally perform on rba? Does it gunk them up too at the same settings?

What was your break in ritual? Did you follow the crown video break in protocol? I was too lazy for that so I just filled my tanks the night before and didn't use them until the next day. After a month they are both going strong but I'm at 470deg 40w.

I've heard some of the stock coils have given others problems like you are picturing and just using another solved their issues.

For some reason the RBA does somewhat better standing up to that juice. I usually get about a week before I have to pull the cotton, glow the coil, strum off black crusties. I never new there was a break in video from uwell. What's the skinny on that?

Its a whole ritual of priming, letting it sit, unpowered puffs for a period of time, light power puffs then ramping up 5-10w at a time until the flavor comes through at each power level. I'll see if I can find it. Got something to do with the way uwell tight packs the cotton in the coils.

I've used both 316L (which is what it is made from) & 403. Niether is right but 403 seems more stable in device manager. Both are a wildly bumpy ride on the graph but seem to settle in a bit with use. Vape well though. Couple people have edited the csv in escribe, but I don't know if anyone has come to a consensus on what the proper csv values to use are. Crown hasn't released one to my knowledge. Seen question asked a hundred times. Have yet to find a definitive answer.

If you find one, let me know.

For the RBA coil I roll the wick how .... Kicker's does in his Lemo wicking video. I then trim the wick like he does in his Crown wicking video and the RBA section works like a dream. Zero flooding and zero burnt hits as long as I don't crank up the wattage too high. Obviously you can't do 90 watts on the RBA like you can on the 2.5 coils. The flavor is great too.

I'll give this a look and try!

I spent most of my weekend trying different builds on my single coil crown deck. To avoid a burnt hit, I'm stuck at 30 watts, without a full inhale, on a .5 coil, while keeping it completely upright as to not pour juice out of the airholes.
