Which vaporshark? if you are using a dna 30 or 40, good chance you will have a problem. you need at least 50-60W to run the .25 in my experience. suggest buying a 200w (dna200 or snow wolf), or a 75w device like the ipv d2 or a sigelei. even if your mod wasn't giving you an error, you need a bit more power to run the .25.

Yeah, with the DNA 30, you aren't going to get much with the .25 SS coils in the Crown. I am using my DNA 30 right now on a Crown, but I'm using the .5 coil. At 30W, I get a voltage of about 4.3 - 4.4, which is my target for a good vape. The DNA 30 will only fire down to somewhere between .3 and .5.

Time to get yourself an upgrade on your mod! Ones that I've used with success on the .25 Crown are the VS DNA200, the IPV D2 (up to 75W), and the SnowWolf 200. You really do need at least a 60-70W mod for the .25.

Played with the RBA head today, not impressed. Restricted air flow, no where near the vapor. Came pre-built with 0.25ohm coil, I'm guessing ss? I had to wick it with KGD. No leaking with a 50/50 juice, but No where near the vape quality from the Coil heads.

This would be due to only two juice holes vs 4 plus the fact the coil is vertical not vertical like the original, also the juice holes are of smaller diameter too.

Poke those coil holes. I keep a map pin at my work station.

Yes i know and will but i should not have to.....thinking about going back to the triton 2. The cotton is just to tight in these coils i think.

Been using this tank since around the month it came out and never once had to poke a hole, so while some may, I don't think you "should have to." It can easily be something else going awry with your approach, but it remains to be seen if we can figure out what that is, so if poking a hole works, do it, but know that you do not have to do that to get it right.

Yes i agree i should not have to. I have used this tank for months now with no problems. I prime and break it in slow. I think i might have a vacuum problem. Going to change all orings and coil when i get home and see if that works.

I agree. The RBA section is a joke. They should not have even made it. That s-wicking video is no help. He can only take short puffs and needs to let the wicking catch up before he takes another short puff. The .25 pre-made coils are the best though.

Oh, okay. My bad, I get it now...you are not a newbie to this, but just going through hiccups. Got it!

New member here but wanted to add my input in case anyone was in a similar situation as me. I started vaping in August and picked up a Kangertech subox mini. It has been serving me great but I started to get the itch to upgrade. I wanted more flavors and for no reason other than reading random comments on the internet (always the best way to form an educated conclusion) determined that my mini was limiting me. Ideally I wanted to purchase the Sig 150TC and pair it with the crown but also wanted to make sure I thought out my decision. On a whim I was talking to someone at my B&M and he said he bought the crown the week before but wanted to get a TFV4. Next thing I know I walked out with his old crown.

I am currently running it on my subox at 50watts with the 0.5 coil. It chews through batteries but I am a fan so far. For anyone concerned about the crown working at 50 watts I say take the plunge. I will still ultimately upgrade in the near future to a mod that can push 75 at a minimum but I am glad I have the crown now as well. At the least I can now rotate the two with different juices instead of having to empty and refill. Is my crown performing at the same level as others running the 0.5 or 0.25, no, probably not but I know alot of that is also personal preference. But for my setup, I still notice a difference even at 50 watts.

Read somewhere yesterday that Uwell has confirmed that few batches of their coils were faulty. They said that the issue has been resolved and customers should try the new coils. Not sure how would customers figure that out though.

That explains how I got a few bad coils.

WOW I was thinking that but it has been doing so great i thought it might be me somehow. So do yall know where the good coils are suppose to be at? I would think venders will just sell what they have till they are gone ya know? For what its worth i changed my orings back being VERY careful not to get them twisted. Coil is still on the plate soaking up juice. The way i run it up it will be at full power tomm but i should be able to tell tonight if its wicking the way it should.
