Been reading up on this and others are saying the same thing that is happening to me. After about the first tank the bubbles just stop coming. What vendors are yall using? Or can we even say that on ecf now?
Since uwell Crown has limited availability, I would pre-order it from any reputable vendor rather than buying from someone who already has it. This would make sure that I get one from the latest batch.

WOW I was thinking that but it has been doing so great i thought it might be me somehow. So do yall know where the good coils are suppose to be at? I would think venders will just sell what they have till they are gone ya know? For what its worth i changed my orings back being VERY careful not to get them twisted. Coil is still on the plate soaking up juice. The way i run it up it will be at full power tomm but i should be able to tell tonight if its wicking the way it should.
Check that the juice holes seemed lined up when it's juiced up. I noticed that the issues I had with some coils they seem shifted - less only cotton and more of that cotton sheet over metal. The only thing that seems to help these coils is unscrewing the top cap - get bubbles and screw back down. Putting in holes with a pin somewhat helps but since the juice holes don't seem to line up correctly, not much. Wondered if you could just turn the coils to line up correctly on these ones ?

Read somewhere yesterday that Uwell has confirmed that few batches of their coils were faulty. They said that the issue has been resolved and customers should try the new coils. Not sure how would customers figure that out though.
Where did you read this? Would be good to hear direct from Uwell how we can be sure we are buying the 'new' coil.
That explains how I got a few bad coils.

i literally signed up just for this thread.
i'm having issues with my stock coils too. primed it according to how quest4vape does it.
searched everywhere for solutions to it
i had no issues when i used the RBA so i ruled out the 'vacuum' part out.
to get mine wicking again, i unscrewed the top cap and had to repeat every 4-5 hits or so..which is a little annoying to deal with.

so would it be incorrect if i presumed my stock coils to be defective :O ?

When you get the hang of building on the deck it’s as good as if not better than the stock coils. I’m running a 26ga 2.5mm – 5 wrap on the deck. After many attempts, dry hits and a juice river or two this method rocks.

Once the coil is in and you thread your cotton cut it about 2mm’s longer than the screw out portion of the deck. Pancake the cotton back towards your coil and slide the head back (cap) onto the deck. Working the cotton from the bottom (closest to the deck) to the top gently work your cotton down to the deck, don’t pack it. Prime it and rock the Crown.

The deck is a little finicky and small but once you get it right you save yourself a ton of money on coils and the flavor and vapor is outstanding.

Well on 2nd tank now and its just the same. .5ohm running 45w.....just no bubbles. Going back to the triton and have the mutation x mt-rdta coming. So gonna leave the crown to rest for a few months and hope the bad coils are gone by the time i come back to it. I did email and send $6 to them so if they come in i will post how they are working.

 I'd be careful with that without contacting them first. It sure could be a scam...and might I say, a pretty clever one too. LOL
Have a look at the link I mentioned with this email text. There are other people as well who contacted them and got similar answers. I agree though that one should be careful.

I would imagine people that email Uwell at their general customer service / contact address might get that email and those people, on record with Uwell, could take advantage of the offer.

If that address is set-up for PayPal purposes, it might not be monitored for inquiries and basic communication, and only notify Uwell when a payment is sent.

That said, I agree with @Mr.Mann, it could be a very clever scam...

I will contact them and see what happens. Tonight I was driving home, enjoying the 0.5 that I primed last night. All was going well a couple hours into the new coil, then suddenly a dry hit around 53 or 55w. After that, the flavor tasted muted though not really burnt.

I stopped in a local vape shop and grabbed the 1 remaining Herakles nickel coil they h3ad left. While I was there, they removed the Crown from the display case and did not want to discuss it. I looked at the Starre Pro but did not pull the trigger. Hopefully the nickel TC coil will calm the beast we know as Herakles. What a beast it is for those who like hot dense storm clouds. Puts hair on your chest, as my father used to say about Reds.

Thanks for the Crown info. Hopefully not a scam. I did not consider that possibility, so I appreciate the heads up from this group.

I thought I was having issues with my new coil but it just needed an extra day to break in. I thought I had a bunk one. Hope it continues like it is going now! I still can't believe how well this tank has worked for me, especially considering others have had issues. I never had such luck with gear like this!
