V2 Batteries @ V2cigs

)In December I bought a couple of V2 batteries because of their 4.2 volt claim. I've never measured them, but I've found them to be weaker than my batteries from Vapor 4 Life, Bloog, or a couple of unmarked batteries I purchased locally. I've since moved on to mods, but still use my auto Bloog on occasion when I want hands free.
When I started I was considering V2, after researching I'd heard some bad things about them and went elsewhere.
They are bs besides being ripoffs pricewise for parts.

Yeah they are 4.2 off charger and even out at 3.7. Yes they are badly overpriced but I will say that at 3.7 they vape like a champ. I would not recommend them to anyone due to the price but I will say that their batts are great quality and work like a champ.
You can get KR808D-1 batteries at Vaporkings.com. You can get fancy colors at Vapor4Life.com. And there is a new style that claims slightly longer battery charge but has a very tiny button on the manuals - see SmokelessImage Volt (only some colors available as manual) and I think Halo G6 and Bloogplanet are this model.
Most people use and recommend manual batteries, especially if you plan to be filling/refilling your cartos to get more days of use out of them. No matter how careful you are filling cartos, occasionally one will leak a bit on the end of the battery, and that is right where and auto battery is vulnerable to juice damage to its needed drag sensor. Manuals also generally make it easier to get a good hit.
Re XL KR808D-1 - V2 is not the only company that sells them. V2 is just a rebrander. You can get KR808D-1 XL at Vapor4Life.com for example.

I like them but they are rediculously expensive.
The xl's do last a long time but I just bought 2 manuel batts from Smokless image some coloured thingies for the end of the carts and a sampler pack of carts delivered for the price of one batt from V2.

I was one of those suckered by V2. However, I did find a $3 adapter at Madvapes that lets you use them with 510 attys and cartos. It's not a total waste?

You can get an equivalent system (or slightly better) from Smokeless Image, Vapor4Life, Bloog, or HaloCigs. They have the newer 808s that perform more consistently. I think you could be fine going with the KR808D-1 stuff from other vendors without resorting to a 510->808/901 adapter.
