I have purchased cartomizers from a few suppliers and found them to be all the same
no difference in vaping them ... Some had 4 holes some 2 holes and they came slotted
and without slots .. The 4 Hole unslotted batts are all and haven't been produced in months...The 2 hole are the standard auto batts that come slotted...The manuals that are now available are also 2 and 3 hole that are currently unslotted but will probably be changed to slotted soon from what I am hearing ...I will be using 3 Auto 3 hole slotted batterys for the test. "Chargers everywhere" :) The carts are available in slotted and unslotted with no particular semblance of order and are no longer being manufactured without slots as far as I know. This has been brought up before but as I have read about the V4L cartomizers being better I needed to see for myself, I was lead to believe the cartomizers were different and better. Now along with so many other people I know for a fact They are not better but the same!

For the Test:

1 V4L Cartomizer has plug and 4 grooves

1 NHaler KR808 Cartomizer has plug and 4 grooves

1 CigEasy KR808 Cartomizer has plug and 4 grooves

vaping test:

3 Fully Charged kr808 auto 3 hole slotted battery

Findings:
All 3 had the same Flavor ( Same DeKang liquid ) - This was also confirmed by Mark at V4L
All 3 had the same Vapor production ( Test was done on Full battery for each cartomizer giving 40 long pulls)
All 3 had the same insides ( I took 3 cartomizers apart ) all 3 from different suppliers without the wrappers you could not tell them apart
All 3 had comparable amounts of liquid inside

My findings: The cartomizers are the same, with the exception of the wrapper (With the V4L logo and name of flavor) Other 2 had color wrappers (for identifying flavor)

My Suggestion: Purchase them were you can find them the cheapest

Here are some post about the Cartomizers and will support my findings:

Thanks for the input. I didn't buy into the V4L hype (stellar customer service is one thing, product similarity another) and ordered a bunch of cartomizers from Health Cabin for a buck each, after shipping. Buying the same amount through V4L would've cost roughly triple. I guess my cynicism pays off once in a while lol

EDIT: Scratch the price comparison; I'm not sure whether V4L sells in bulk.

Did you try 36Mg vs 24Mg?

I really wish all of the cartomizers said what flavor they were on the side. Even tho color ones do work; it's just a nice little touch to have them said what they are on them.

Agreed. Some of the colors just look silly. If I were a supplier I'd have mine all black with the mg and flavor printed on the wrapper.

Another reason I didn't go with V4L. The last thing I want to be sucking on in public is a lime green battery attached to a neon pink cart, both covered in pseudo Louis Vuitton logos...

Black = Good and stealthish

Why do people feel the need to screw with something that doesn't need screwing with??

I pull the paper sticker/wrappers off so they all are pretty shiny silver at my house! I don't like the bright colors.

I dunno if they changed the formulation... but man that glue was hard to get off! I ended up using something that.. well... wouldn't be too healthy if I swallowed it!

Then I discovered that the metal outside of the carto got pretty dern hot without the wrapper! That's when I decided to heat-shrink it, and put the 901 tip on!

Are you saying that you found NHaler to be the cheapest?
Today I received the adapter for my SD 901 from Vapor Country, and cartomizers from CigEasy which I found to be the cheapest over NHaler. Now let me tell you it took 5 puffs to get this cart going, it was 24 mg mint flavor, and it seems very inconsistent on the draw every other puff, or two. It is light, but has lots of flavor, most of the times it does compare to a ultra light analog, which would have to get use to all over again, because vaping the 510 is totally different, more of a denser vape, and better throat hit. But for sure I can tell you that the Nicotine is there in these cartomizers, was pretty nicotined out, and I use 24 to 36 mg in my 510. And I agree about 40 puffs to these carts. I am using a new fully charged 3.7 Volt, 1000mah, Li-ion battery in my SD. When my 510 adapter arrives for my 901, I will be able to try these carts on my 510 battery. Just refilled the mint cartomizer with puresmoker mint juice, I will let it sit, and try it tomorrow. Over all I do not think they are worth the money for the carts. PS I am vaping the RY4 now and this one really SUCKS for the vapor, and throat hit, this one was packaged in the foil and had a plug in the cart, now the mint came in a box without no plug ?, and guess what I finished that cart just now, ABOUT 20 PUFFS ONLY :mad::mad: THAT BLOWS BIG TIME, maybe they did change up some of them?

I agree with you about the carts and have found refilling them with your favorite juice is very convenient for taking out and about ... the 808 carts are very inconsistent, you will get a good one and there are some that don't preform as well, you will get these "bad cartos" from any supplier that offers the 808 cartomizers, they are coming from the same factory .. The Green Cig cartomizers are much better last longer and are more consistent than 808 cartomizers but they are more expensive. I have never killed a 808 cartomizer or Green Cartomizer, but I have found adding some PG or VG to your favorite Liquid before refilling them helps the vapor production IMO just a little something for you to experiment with :)

I have found that cartomizers take a little bit before they really start to kick out the vapor. Also not sucking on it really hard also really works great.
I can get huge clouds of vapor with cartomizers after they start to kick in really good.

I can make one last all day, and it's certainly not just 20 puffs. I've been chain vapping on one cartomizer all night from about 6pm(it's almost 1am now).

One thing I have also found with the vapor county adapter is to cover the hole just a little. This lets less air come in, and lets the vapor build up more with the cartoimzer.

Your right DaMulta and I use the cartomizers on the big mods, I used the 808 batteries for the test because that is what they are made for, I do prefer cartomizers with a 5V or 3.7V mod .. rather then the 808 e-cig battery .. depends on the flavor ... just figure with the flavor be good hot or warm? if so put 5V or 6V to it and its great if not than the 18340 gets put in or 18650 ..

Sorry if I did not understand about the cheapest, but I did shop around to find the cheapest, there was a Canadian site also that was cheap but I did not want to wait. Drew from Nhaler is a Great guy I know him. And yes I am going to play around with these carts when refilling. I also just bought a Chuck, it has to be made with my art work, and writing on it, should have it in 2 to 3 weeks, while I have you here, do you know if the CR123, 3 Volt battery's are the same as RCR123, LIR123, ICR123, I know the R stands for rechargeable.

When using my SD with these cartomizers I have to prime it up for about 3 seconds, then take a very slow long draw to feel, and see any vapor, glade I am using a manual with 3.7 volt of power. Other wise if I would have bought a KR808D automatic starter kit I would have returned it, or CRIED.

So I take it your recommendation would be CigEasy for $7.95 as opposed to $9.00 from Nhaler? Personally, if I didn't taste a difference in cartos (which I do and am just as entitled to my opinion as you are yours) I would buy my cartos from HealthCabin at $7.50. I ordered from them and my order was here in 5 business days - super fast! Unfortunately, my taste test didn't come out the same as yours and I have set them aside in case of emergency.

Since you apparently have the only taste buds capable of discerning the subtle difference in cartos, I will be anxously awaiting your comparison of the V4L cartos and CigEasy, Nhaler and perhaps even HealthCabin at the 0mg, 8mg, and 11mg levels. Oh that's right! *smacks her forehead* The others don't carry them! Well, I guess I will just have to depend on my obviously inferior taste buds to guide me in this matter...

Buy from wherever you wish, sheesh lol! Maybe love makes them taste better, but I taste a difference. Add to that the fact that I vape the 0mg or the 8mg at night which I haven't found anywhere else, and that pretty much keeps me where I am. As long as we are not smoking, where's the bad?
