Good morning everyone!! Now lets see if I can remember everything...
Yay for spotting your kitties Keela!
Welcome Chester, this is a great place to be!
AdamA that is AWESOME!!! So happy for you!
Morandir, I tried functioning on 3-4 hours of sleep. After 5 months of it I ended up upside down in my truck in a ditch at 3am in rural Texas...bad night for everyone involved (especially for my beloved truck, who did not make it through the ordeal, RIP :( )! Now I have to get at least 6 (to barely function), but preferably 8 or 9.
Oh!! And I'm so sorry to hear about your soggy morning Mookleboo :( I hope it dries up before the ride home!
Anita so happy to hear that your package is here!!! YAY!!!
It's back to work today for me. I go in at 2pm and get out at 11pm, so I'll have alot of catching up to do when I get home I'm sure!! Hope everyone has a great day!!

Well, I've just tested out the car... drove it home to pick up my mail!! Who cares about wet droopy drawers when you've got a care package from V4L!! (BTW, I totally ROCKED the droopy drawer look). Plus, have put the top back down and it's been baking in the sun... only the driver seat is still a bit damp. My tackle box is full and I think I may have seen an angel in the peppermint and newport cartos. :)

hey errrrrrybody! if you noticed I was gone for a few days thanks for thinking of me! And the reason for my absence was that I was in St. Cloud and Minneapolis, Minnesota all weekend! Had a good time away from the computer and time with good friends and good music! My friend had a birthday party that was safari themed and we all dressed up like safari animals. There were 3 little skimpy zebras, a skimpy little genetically confused tiger, lion, leapord, a giraffe, some hunters with bows and arrows and cameras, a cheetah that was attacking everyone, and me the black panther (I has a fuzzy kitty hat)... very fun times. Ill snag some pics of the night to share when they get posted by the awesome photographers that were there.
Then on Saturday night went to the Cabooze in Minneapolis and hit up the Wookiefoot show! Very fun night!
Oh and I ate at White Castle for the first time as well as A&W. So yes it was a great great weekend!

Like this if you like me wooo like button! ftw!

love you!!

I have to tell the story of getting my V4L order at the PO today. My DH was with me when I picked it up.

I got into the car after coming out of the building and handed him all of the mail to hold while I drove. He was going through the various envelopes and parcels, and came to mine.

Him: "I thought you weren't allowed to order from this place anymore."
Me: "Huh???"
Him: "What about your self-imposed cut-off?"
Me: "Oh, my ordering probation? Well, see, they were having this incredible 3 hour sale..."
Him: "You have no resistance. You're never gonna use all that stuff."
(thought bubble) Silly man.
Me: "But the Vapor Prince sang Country Roads to me online the other night! I had to order!"
Him: (dying laughing) That is not shopping, dear. That is a social network.
Me: "No, it's a family." (Sigh)

Bad day for me, family. Had to put one of my beloved kitties down. She developed diabetes 3 years ago-at the age of 5-very rare for young female. She has been on twice daily insulin shots ever since. Last week she became lethargic and quit eating. Diagnosed with insulin induced pancreatic tumor. She will be sorely missed. We loved her. Still have her sister who is also on insulin due to eating some cooling bacon grease we had on counter--that gave her pancreatitis. But her blood sugar is only a little high and she gets only 1 unit of insulin twice a day. So hopefully will have her many more years. Bummer of a weekend--been crying most of the day.
