Lmao at the comment Ms. Keelalagirl. :)

Ms. Clover I was wondering where you went, hoped it had been a great weekend for you. I'm not hitting that button though..... I hate that button.... :)

Ms. Gramva I'm sorry. The only solace I can offer is you did the right thing and she is no longer suffering. We had to put down our dog Jason when he was five.... He developed k9 lymphoma... We did all we could (except chemo, dogs don't take well to it, and it's not right to torture a friend so you can get a few years more of their company).... If there's anything I can do please let me know...

As if my heart wasn't already breaking for you Gram.....My childhood baby...and to this day the one kitty I still cry over was named Sugar......I am so very sorry for what you just had to go through....There is an extra kind of bond that is made with a diabetic kitty that makes it that much harder to say good bye. I have a male stray that we took in and after a year found out he was diabetic....OH Gram....I'm sitting here sharing your tears and sending you many many hugs (((((hug))))) May your Sugar baby frolic on the other side of the rainbow awaiting your reunion.

Thanks for the welcome everyone. I can tell this place is going to be great:)
Received my package and went right inside and tried it out with the USB PT. I am in love...

Question: should there be sizzling sounds when puffing? Only used one cart so far so I dont know if its only this one. Otherwise .... sorry got to go vape again :)

You will grow to love that sound....it is hard to puff on anything else and not hear that sound....you start thinking things are broken:)

So sorry for your loss Gramva...I had to give my 2 beautiful girls (cats) away when I moved..no animals allowed. That was 6 years ago, I still miss them so much. Pets are a big part of any family, its tough when you lose them:(

Clover, I was wondering where you were, glad you had a fun filled weekend:)

Joyce...LOL great conversation with hub...hehehe

Happy for everyone who got their packages today...I'm still waiting for mine...I'm guessing maybe friday, but more likely early next week...we'll see.

Sorry if I've left out anyones news...I'm behind by soooo many pages on this thread and my email is full of replies...I'm gonna Vape my Dunhall and start reading:)

Bad day for me, family. Had to put one of my beloved kitties down. She developed diabetes 3 years ago-at the age of 5-very rare for young female. She has been on twice daily insulin shots ever since. Last week she became lethargic and quit eating. Diagnosed with insulin induced pancreatic tumor. She will be sorely missed. We loved her. Still have her sister who is also on insulin due to eating some cooling bacon grease we had on counter--that gave her pancreatitis. But her blood sugar is only a little high and she gets only 1 unit of insulin twice a day. So hopefully will have her many more years. Bummer of a weekend--been crying most of the day.

Thanks to you all for your kind thoughts--I just felt better sharing with all the kitty lovers on this forum. And your supporting remarks do ease the pain. I guess misery does love company. Her name was Sugar (ironic) and she was a sweetie. Bless you for caring.

Dear Gramva, I am so, so sorry for your loss. I know what an awful decision that is -- and I am in the midst of discerning my own such decision now wrt my diabetic darling, Darius.:(

He just isn't enjoying life as much anymore, has developed arthritis and lost his appetite. Took him to the vet last week, he physically checked out fine and his bloodwork showed his glucose has actually been running low; was otherwise all WNL. He is now on reduced insulin x2 and a half baby aspirin every third day for the arthritis.

He is definitely doing better, but he's still not "normal" . . . I will ask the vet tomorrow if she checked him for pancreatic cancer. It may just be that he is, well, old. He got diabetes at age 9 and is now 16 . . . but I cannot bear to let him suffer.

One of his (many) nicknames is "Mr. Too-Sweet" because I swear that's why he got diabetes: he's always been just too full of SUGAR.:(

Again, I'm so sorry. My heart aches for you, and also with you.
