A 47 yo woman here died last week from smoking while on oxygen....= fire....and it killed her and her dog

Oh Kee, that's just . . . ghastly! And she was so young, too!

He can do whatever he wants to do...just so happy he's still around to get in my way I bless every time he makes me stop whatever important thing I'm doing to answer a dumb question like "what are you doing?" or "how are you?" or "where are you?" Yeah, he's the all-time king of dumb questions

Just had to go bout 30 miles outta my way today ( after waiting 30 min to find out wth was going on ) because some stupid idiot hit somebodies car and the wait was hours so they allowed us to turn around and go back ( actually there was no officer further up from the accident to stop us ) So cheers once again to people ( probably driving faster then either their driving skills .skills on mtn roads or car can handle ,or perhaps texting or dialing or eating or all of the above on a two lane hwy full of twists and turns .lol ..try to get good ins NOW buddy.....
sarcastic mood ...matches my hubbys' tonite so its tv and junk food and trying to calm down .

I just spent the last 4 and a half hours sorting through bills and such, writing check after check after check, and scanning each and every payment slip and check to my hard drive to make sure no one tries to say I didn't pay. I'm excited to have done so much, and I should probably go to bed. Instead, what I'm going to do is pour myself a really large adult beverage and watch some Netflix. I don't drink often, but some nights end up forcing the issue

Happy weekend y'all. My birdie has had a traumatic week but we discovered he loves showers today. So he's a little more cheerful. What's ya all up to this weekend?

my anniversary was nice. We didn't do too much. just tossed blankies on the floor in the basement and watched the green hornet starring seth rogan while drinking some sailor jerry's. Good times

Good afternoon Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend ahead of them because I will be clearing out a storage room to get to the furnace <sigh> It's a "balmy" 51 degrees downstairs, almost as warm as the outdoors Better now than when Chicago turns *really* cold, right?

Birds love showers...my parakeets used to get so angry whenever I took a bath instead They'd perch on the side of the tub and "scold" me until I'd run the shower to rinse off Then they'd happily sit on my shoulder and sing!

Daughter had a soccer game this morning and a sleepover last night.They stayed up late and had a 7:30 game so the girls are tired.My son has homecoming tonight.I couldnt get him a nice suit but we pieced together a very nice outfit with a sport coat and he will look very handsome.It been a busy day for me,LOL!

They lost,but it was a good game.Im trying to do as much as I can with the kids while Im able to.I can feel myself getting more tired and the pain sneaks up on me more often now.Hopefully by Christmas this will be behind me and the new year will be much better.Its funny because Im very nervous about the surgery but part of me wishes Dec 14th would just get here and get it over with,LOL!Im ready to move ahead and feel better.I think 2012 will be a very good year.My family deserves for it to be better.We need to pay off the medical bills and start fresh.

I have a cockatiel. 5 months old. I handfed him from month 1-month 3 then he weaned

this was his first one, so I just put him on my finger near the spray and he moved to the other part of my finger to get drenched and try to eat the water. then he got all calm and just sat there. it was so cute. but then it was cold in my house and I was worried how he'd warm up. he wouldn't snuggle under a towel so I eventually opened the shade and put him on the chair in the sun, hoping he wouldn't get hypothermia!

I have my own dumb question of the day : Will/does /can the passthru in the car drain your battery like leaving lights on if it remains plugged in while car is off ? Or not enough to drain ?

I would think the only way it would drain the car battery is if you were actually using the PT----just like using the PV battery; when you inhale (auto) or press the button (manual).

I had not idea pet birds like a shower! That's cute. I get cardinals diving through my sprinkler when I water the garden......even though I have a bird bath.
