Happy thanksgiving everyone. :)

Headed to bed, head is still killing me. Looking forward to one more day of work (friday) then vaca though. Tomorrow will get the results from the uv testing on juices. Had one juice exposed to sunlight for 5 days, one exposed to lamp light for the same amount of time, and the last one has been under uv light constantly for 5 days inside my computer.... :)

Know that's not a thin juice Whistles sir, so it's not that. Sounds like juice pop, which cool carts are prone to. Why they make the snap crackle and pop sounds. Higher the voltage, higher the chance of it occurring. Does it dissipate after the first 20-25 draws?

Well sort of Morandir sir.... I didn't get it at all today and I had a fresh fill... Only difference is I kept my pt in my car instead of using the carto on my batt "I forgot that I was also using it on my manual regular yesterday" But the other difference is there was a brown blob of juice sitting at the top of the filling that is now gone... I suppose the hard draws sucked that up... So all is well now.

I have ran a few test runs for Friday so I know where my budget is and am ready to order "scwhoop!" So excited to use a diamond again let alone a manual version:)

Whistles, I ask again...and not sure if you already answered this...but Hutchinson Where??

Katz, the rest of the world thinks it's the Civil War or politics that divides the USA...not so :p It's Thanksgiving dinner and its traditions ;) Is it stuffing or dressing, even though it's cooked the same way :) Is it cornbread or savory and...what do you add to it? I never got used to oysters <blech> Not when cooked inside a bird  Do giblets go into the dressing or are they for gravy OR simply thrown away? Oh, BTW, a show of hands please...and be HONEST - how many of us have cooked the giblet package inside the bird...strictly by accident, of course?? ;) And, don't get me started on which of a jillion side dishes are served with the bird

It isn't our drawls or twangs that set us apart one from another...it's the issue of yams vs. sweet potatoes vs. mashed potatoes (meaning russets)! Fresh green beans or green bean casserole?? And, do you "puddle" your peas in the mashed potatoes or eat them alone????

See, the first and possibly hardest hurdle a newly-wed couple has to face is Thanksgiving...not which family do we visit but WHICH stuffing do we use??

It's as American as apple pie

Happy Thanksgiving to y'all...best wishes, good health and happiness :)

My dearest Katz and Kanza:

Stuffing must be savory, and should include pecans or walnuts. Oysters are optional, sage is not. :)

Giblets are for the cat. :D

Potatoes should be baked, of the orange/yellow variety, and NEVER served with marshmallows!

Corn pudding and pecan pie are mandatory. Mincemeat pie is strongly recommended. Pumpkin pie is for children. :glare:

Green beans are best if purchased fresh, then simmered all day with ham hocks and pepper.

Fresh yeast rolls are also mandatory.

Just in case you were wondering. :)

Happy Thanksgiving all ! Boy Eleanor sure proved kanza's post lmao ...
It really does depend too on where parents grew up and what part of country .
I have never and will never eat pecan pie lol .( in laws loved it )
I don't like nuts in my stuffing either :( blech.( in laws loved it ) we often made 2 stuffings ....
I only agree about the green bean part ,must be simmered with something in the pork family and for hours ...
We did the yam casserole and baked when i was little ,but my aunts made this casserole sweet and NO marshamallows needed .I hope everyone gets what they want ! Poor newleyweds is right Kanza I can hear the arguments now .lol
