Afternoon all. We got hit hard earlier but the storm moved quickly. Still looks iffy out there though. Trying to get as much done as possible on here before anything else moves in...
Keep a close eye to the sky Morandir.. I know north of us got hit hard last night (not bad compared to others this year..no loss of life thank goodness)
We got a storm headed this way. Then it's suppose to be rainy all weekend.

Yeah it's overcast here and rain on the way...there has been rain all around us this morning but so far we've missed it. They are saying we should be dry for the weekend.

Very long day off. Loki is out of his cast though, starts rehabbing tomorrow morning. Then after that was working on a bunch of side projects, now going out with my wife for dinner. Will play catch up tomorrow.

Morandir hope you have a nice dinner with the wife..hubby and I just got home from dinner and had a great time. Glad Loki got the cast off and hope he does well with the rehab. The a/c still out at the shop but it was overcast today so I didn't melt. Someday I'm going to win the lottery and not have to work Saturdays anymore (what am I thinking if I win the lottery I'm not working at all)

Hi all. We have suddenly sunk into winter. Days of low cloud, drizzle, showers, rain to varying degrees, windy and cold. Not snow-cold, just dismal. Loving it!!!
I can hear the waves pounding on the beach, the wind, the birds, it's all alive. Makes me want to take another trip to our west coast so I can stand on Ocean Beach & watch the waves rolling in, uninterrupted all the way from South Africa. Wilderness indeed.
Husband is grumpy, daughter is fractious, the cats are bored & irritable because of the weather. Soooo, I'm here catching up with the forums
