You'd have loved the pic I took before that one. 5 almost-2-lb (1.96avg) lobsters. 2 filets cut off a beautiful loin (rubbed with our competition brisket rub with coffee and cracked peppercorns, then mesquite grilled.) 100 steamed littlenecks. Homemade hollandaise sauce.
It was the mother-in-law's birthday so I took the sisters-in-law (sister-in-laws?) to restaurant depot. That pic was taken during was the pause before dessert - a friend's epic cupcakes. (She doesn't update her page much, but she makes alcohol inspired and infused cupcakes. She made them grasshopper, since that was the mom-in-law's favorite drink. Fortunately they were much much better than the drink! And always better than the dime-a-dozen 'gourmet' cupcake places that keep opening up..)

*yawn* Just caught up with the contest list and trying to figure out how to stay awake all night long to get back on my sleep schedule! I've got some magnificent pork ribs the size of Texas T-Bones [as large as 2 hands and as thick as your entire thumb] marinating now. Since I haven't a BBQ pit and don't even know HOW to BBQ I am trying to decide whether I'll roast them in the oven or in my rotisserie :/ Lack of flavor in the oven, but relative ease or set up the rotisserie and then have messy cleanup :/
Vapers finally got to testify before the Public Health committee around 1am Saturday. The Vapers presence during the day was not limited to the hearing and was positive as we recieved good press, made a good impression spoke our story to all we came in contact with including lawmakers.

This is what I roasted in the oven in an enormous turkey roasting pan. They are damned good - heartburn be damned! A local store in the worst part of town has been having regular sales, chicken quarters for $0.49 a lb and these pork ribs for $0.79 a lb - can't ever pass those deals up!
Just finished the chicken and dumplings made with the leftover roasted chicken from last week. I am done cooking unless something comes up during the week.
