My screen name of rosesense has been with me on several forums over the years. I chose it as an inside joke because a nasty old curmudgeon on the rose forum made a comment about people not having any sense about growing roses. I doubt if he got the joke, though.

I love computer stuff and trying to figure out things or helping others. Years ago, I tried to help a cousin via ICQ to figure out what was wrong with her computer. She had 'lost' all her programs that were open. Needless to say, she knew almost nothing about computers, could barely turn it on. It took me a long time (duh) to figure out she had minimized the programs and didn't realize they were in her task bar.

I helped a co-worker when she came to work and her screen was black, couldn't get anything to work. Realized her computer was turned off. She didn't know how to turn it on and had never turned it off but someone in IT had closed it down the previous night while working on things.

I was born at Track Rock, Georgia which is the location of a series of rock carvings (petroglyphs), some dating back at least 3600 years. It is worth seeing if you are ever in the area. Unfortunately, vandals cut some pieces out of the soapstone over the years but I think they are better protected now.

I try to grow plants. But I'm horrible at it.
Ive killed 2 lavenders so far this year, and another is wilting. Ive also killed off 1 Rosemary, 2 ghost chili peppers, a bunch of basil plants, chamomile, a blueberry bush(in this case, not my fault, my MIL didn't water while I was away), and probably a lot of others.

However, every single thing my boyfriend has planted has flourished.
