just read a couple methods. dry rub vs brine.
brine would have to sit over night, and i dig this as i could start it tonight. however, i dont have a container large enough for the 20lb bird. they recommend using a 5gal water bucket like the igloo, i sadly do not have one, not even something close that could fit it.... other than going to target to buy a big plastic tub i have no inexpensive ideas. tub would still be over $10 methinks. the drr runb over night might be the way to go.
could i use a trukey roaster pan and just brine half at a time, wake up in middle of night and flip the turkey? whtcha think>?
2. The phrase "I Want a New mod" has been playing in my head to the tune of Huey Lewis & The News' "I Want a New Drug."
It might work, but I have never tried it so I can't say for sure. I'd even go as far as to just use a cooking pot or bag to brine it with if you have one. It makes that big of a difference. I wouldn't use a garbage bag though. The XXL food bags tend to work pretty well if you have any that will fit the turkey. If the pan is deep enough it may work though. I'm off from work I may be able to hop on once I get home, if not i'll be back tomorrow.
2. I asked my doctor today what she thought about e-cigarettes. She seemed pretty on board with them, basically saying "Hey, they're not cigarettes". Although she did make a point to mention that they have not been FDA approved. As if that means anything. Anyway, it was good to hear that the opinion of some professionals are still...professional.

I had a dream recently that I had a pet baby seal. In my dream, this baby seal was very tiny: it was hand sized. I would sometimes loose it, like under the covers of my bed or in a pile of clothes. I'd just call out it's name and then it would pop out and flop over to me and cuddle. It was so great.

1/15 #2 so how many here are using tapatalk. I'm testing it now and it seems pretty good. I'm taking part in too many forums anymore, need something to keep track

3. So many nerd movies coming out in 2013 -- GI Joe: Retaliation, Iron Man 3, Man of Steel, The Wolverine, Thor: The Dark Worlds, Star Trek: Into the Darkness, Kick ... 2, and The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. Then there are the mainstream movies that are also loved by nerds, like Fast & Furious 6, The Hangover 3, and Anchorman: The Legend Continues. I'm sure that most of these will be average, but I'm excited for most of them too.
3. So my interview tomorrow calls for business professional attire, yet my nicest cloths are business casual. Ugh. Maybe if I act extra professional it'll still work! Lol here's hoping!
