Oh my, here we go again!

I don't have either one! So here is my advice from reading and reading and reading the answers from others:

The Provari is great and if you can afford it, will offer years of performance. It does not have variable wattage and some find that a real plus in a battery (I know I like mine, set it and forget it as they say). Many believe that variable wattage is not important and the Provari has so much else going for it that they are more than willing to do without.

I'm going to give you a honest opinion. I have a Vamo V2 and just ordered a K101 with a igo-L. I broke down and bought a Provari a couple days ago. It's a mod. That's it. It's nothing special. I took it back. My Vamo does the same thing if not more. No reason you should pay that much for a mod when there are plenty of options that do the same or more. That's just my two cents on the matter. I had one and didn't see the point. It doesn't crap gold or make your vape any better.I feel like the people that buy it,have to praise it just because they spent so much. Stick with your Vamo, If your looking for something else, try a mechanical mod. You can buy so much stuff for the price of a Provari. Hope this helps. Good luck and let us know what you decide.

I'm not going to recommend what you should buy, its up to you. A mod is just a power supply, just more consistant than an eGo. A mod doesn't start strong then get weak during your hit, an eGo does. The power drops is just a little mind you, but it does drop off. The mods don't drop enough to notice.

The real issue is the tanks. All these Provari vs (insert item here) threads forget the fact that its the tank you use that is the most important part of the vaping experiance. A tank you hate is not going to turn to gold by simply putting it on a mod.

Yeah but the best tank can't perform to its full capability if it is on a battery that cannot provide the amount of umph necessary, right? I think the Vamo is a good choice over the egos but, I love having an ego passthrough or just my evod 1300mAh around for ease and simplicity. Then again I have two eGo knock offs, one evod, one eGo passthrough and my brand new ZMax which I think I might just love.

I run a Vamo V2 all day, got a 5v 510-threaded box as backup, and a few cigalikes for out-and-about or emergency situations. Also working on a 18650 mech mod right now. If I felt the need to get another backup, I'd find a US dealer with a Vamo V2 still in stock at a reasonable price and buy another. I'm a sucker for VW in my devices so the ProVari is automatically out, as are the eGo/Vision Twist/Spinner devices. With one minor exception, the Vamo V2 is built like a tank, and the only flaw I've discovered so far can be fixed for pennies in parts, and by not making the same mistake I did of over-tightening a cheap eGo/510 adapter down to it. Or just get a good 510/510 extender and leave it permanently installed if you don't mind a tiny gap between the body and your choice of topper.
