Ordered mine on 2-22 still not tracking. Was yours black?

Sorry. :( If you didn't see my earlier post (page 16 I think), I was able to get in contact with Min and he said that the black chrome should be back in stock on 3-6.

I had originally ordered the black chrome kit, but when I was talking to him, I asked him if it would be possible to change it to the SS kit, since I didn't want to wait that much longer. I decided after I ordered that I would rather have the SS anyway, so that worked. I had to send a Paypal payment of the extra $3, of course. But that's why mine shipped out yesterday.

Hopefully yours ships out on 3-6! I know it doesn't help, but I've been reading that the Vamo is worth the wait. Cheers!

Can anyone comment on whether or not their SS Vamo from Vapor Break has the CE markings on the back? I've read that some people have received units with and some without. It obviously doesn't matter one way or another, but I'd just like to know.

Are there multiple factories that VaporBreak is getting their Vamos from, or is it a matter of getting an older unit without, newer unit with, or vice versa?

Thanks! :)

From Wikipedia:

However, not all products need bear CE marking. Only those product categories subject to specific directives that provide for CE marking are required (and allowed) to bear CE marking. Products bearing CE marking are bought not only by professionals (e.g. medical devices, lifts, machinery and measuring equipment) but also by consumers (e.g. toys, PCs, mobile phones and light bulbs). Given that most products bought by consumers can be placed on the market subject only to an internal production control by the manufacturer (Module A), and hence with no independent check of the conformity of the product with EU legislation, ANEC has cautioned that, amongst other things, CE marking cannot be considered a "safety mark" for consumers.[5]
CE marking is a self-certification scheme. Retailers sometimes refer to products as "CE approved", but they have misunderstood the scheme. However, certain categories of products must be type-tested against specific technical standards by an independent body: CE marking in itself does not indicate that this has been done.

I would hope that the charger is adequate; it's usually recommended to NOT let li-ion batteries stay on the charger once they are fully charged and to be nearby while they are charging - in case of a fault in charging. If you are overly concerned about this, you could always pick up a charging bag such as this one.

Generally safe - yes; but as in ALL things, precautions should be taken. Even the most expensive and highly advanced charger could have or develop a defect. The concern with charging any battery is overcharging which could result in anything from excessive heat/gas release to fire/explosion. Even eGo and similar batteries have been known to have 'catastrophic failures'.
Place your charger on a nonflammable surface and stay nearby while the batteries are charging and remove promptly when they are charged will minimize any problems if they should occur.
The concerns with charging batteries is that catastrophic failure is a possibility; the same way it's a possibility that you will be run over by a car when you cross a street. Take adequate precautions and you should be safe - in both cases :D.

I've been using the stock charger with no issues, and it seems to work fairly well.... even with 18650s.

That said, I've seen the insides of some cheap Chinese chargers, and some of them are scary they're so poorly made. The fact that the sticker on it isn't even straight worries me.

I plan to upgrade at some point in the near future, but in the meantime, this thing works just fine.
