Just wanted to share with you guys that I have had my vamo for around 5 months now and the thing is so impressive. Vapes like a train and I have DROPPED this thing more times than I can tell you unfortunately. I have no carpet in my house BTW. Also I have dropped it several times from mouth height straight onto the pavement. And guess what?? It's still working fantastically!! Just thought I would share.

I could not agree with you more. While setting at my computer. I have the bad habit of setting the Vamo on my lap. I have had my Vamo for about three week, and it hits the tile floor at least once a week. The first time it hit the tile, I though the game was over. Not so! I just took the battery out. Put it back in. And started vaping. The thing I don't like about the Vamo is the gun metal finish started to come off after a week of of vaping.:vapor:

I have had mine for a little over 6 months. I have dropped it several times, enough to dent the battery tops. When I first got it I had to stretch the spring just a little. It is the new style spring. I have gone through 4-6 ml per day with this thing and have used it so much I have worn the chrome off around the fire button and several other areas. It has been a workhorse. Sadly I am starting to hit the limits of the fire buttons lifespan. I loved my Vamo. Time to see if the Provari stands up to all the hype. If not, it gets sold and I will buy another Vamo.

Good to know! Thanks for sharing! I'll start recommending the Vamo to my clumsy friends ;) (including myself)

Have the SS v2 and love the thing. Other than being knocked over on the table a few times it hasn't been really tested and would like to keep it that way.

I avoid over-tightening to preserve the threads. I may order another just to have. Paid$50 and still feel like I got a "steal". May check out that deal..

i've got the chrome one from healthcabin, has the hotspring, had it a few weeks. Every time i drop it i think 'that'll be that broken then' but it takes a lickin and keeps on tickin!. I absolutely LOVE this thing. Even at the same voltage/wattages, i find it gives a nicer vape than my ego batteries and the twist.. just nicer flavour, perhaps a little more vapour and slightly less burning. I think it's to do with the PWM regulation. I'm using 10w too now so it's damn useful for that

as for batteries, in portable mode i use an efest 18350 which after 3 cycles i am distinctly unimpressed with the capacity of. For home use I use either an AW 18650 which is win, or i double up the tubes and put two efest 18650s in (i am aware of correct procedure to keep batteries in series happy and safe)

vamo is epic, and as my name is epic eric, i am qualified to say that lol

At least 3 800mAh 18350 to get through the day with the vamo.
I found ideal initial purchase to be 4 of the 18350 800mAh for out and about and 2 18650 2200mAh for around the house or wherever you don't have to pocket it.

The 18350 are small enough to not be a nuisance to carry around in some kind of container in the pocket..

Lol nice thanks man. Guess I have to now..

For all the criticisms of VB I have to say it was worth it. Came in a large box wrapped in lots of bubble wrap. Just be aware:
I ordered on Mar. 15 (Fri)
Accepted @ China Post Mar. 20
Received on April 3
Also understand until it was delivered to my local PO the tracking said it was still in "open" status with Chinese Customs.
I believe when I ordered VB was understaffed (has now hired 2 people) and was flooded with orders.
Best of Luck

Edit: I chose the cheapest delivery and it wasn't too bad.

Yeah I'm expecting the wait. Still waiting on my Kanger order from mid March. Went with the cheap one too. Using PayPal always makes these transactions " feel" better. Thanks again for checking that out.

You're welcome. If needing extra Panny 18650 batts check out FastTech- bought Pannys:
4 X 18650 2250 mah for $20 delivered
2 X 18650 3400 mah for less than $20 delivered
From Hong Kong, they're genuine and delivery took 11 days.
