Almost 30 days later, still no Vamo from VaperBreak. tracking # still sahs preparing for shipment!!!
Well my Friend welcome aboard!! I ordered one from Zainy 11/20 and I am still waiting for it, I've sent them an e mail and the response I've got is that due to the holidays the Chinese customs takes longer to inspect hence the Delay!!

If the USPS tracking shows "preparing for shipment" this means that the item has been processed in the origin country and is on its way to way. The status should actually say "left origin country for destination" rather than the meaningless dribble USPS puts. The hold up is US Customs. They hold up packages from China for about two weeks after they get to the US for inspection. Packages from China are subject to more scrutiny due to customs looking for counterfeit goods. You should be receiving it soon. If you track it on China Post's English tracking you will see that it will show "departed from outward point of exchange," which means it left China already.

Today I have checked with my carrier and get news from them. Due to the end year, the China customs
inspect the packages strictly.so the goods has been inspected and they changed another tracking resend it
again by RAxxxxxxxxxCN . It has been sent out on DEC 28th 2012.

I bought it on Nov 20th and the package only left china on Dec 28th with a different tracking number!!!, that seems like
a BS excuse for we messed up your order!!

If your package happened to be in another mail sack with a suspect package, all the packages are returned to the sender for security purposes. China is very strict on outgoing mail. This is an entirely plausible story. I had an EMS package from Health Cabin get returned to them by Chinese customs twice. I gave up and got a refund. Usually on the second try the package will successfully leave the country. I know it sucks but that is one of the risks when buying from China.

thanks Jackbox, that link actually worked. ive been using 17track.net is the most powerful tracking system of registered postal parcel and international express in China! that Vaporbreak sent me, and even in english, it says the same thing. the one you gave me says departed from outward point of exchange on Dec 16th. hope it comes soon.

17track.net just shows you the last scan (which in your case was the U.S.P.S. interpretation of the Chinese scan) unless you click "details" to see all the tracking scans from both carriers.

I've ordered from China (health cabin and Zainy) and have always received the stuff I ordered.
Having said that, EMS shipping is very slow. Once I get the shipping notice with tracking info
it's taken anywhere from 18 days to little over a month to receive the order, depending if it's a holiday season or what not.
Be patient you'll get your stuff eventually. If I want something quickly I'll order in the good ol USA, but
if I don't need it quickly China prices are very good and the wait for me is worth it.

Just received my black chrome Vamo and really love this thing. One major problem though. All my devices mount at a non-perpendicular angle to the top surface of the top cap. As in they all sit on the Vamo tilted. Like the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Anyone else experienced this? Is there an easy fix (guessing not)? This device tilt really detracts from the otherwise striking appearance of the Vamo.

One of mine has a slight tilt but barely noticeable. Definitely a QC issue. You could try removing the press ft head and reinstalling it but you might break your vamo.

Thanks for the input jackbox. Judging by the top cap seam on mine, the cap appears to be seated properly. I'm thinking the problem is with the 510 connector itself. It's definitely cocked in its mounting hole and I don't really see a way to uncock (tech term) it. I've contemplated wedging a screwdriver between the connector and the well wall but if something breaks in the process the taillight warranty goes right out the window. Damn OCD (CDO in proper order)
