Maybe not the right place to post this but I couldnt find anywhere else so here goes.

I am looking to upgrade from ego t to Vamo v2. Here in the UK they selk for about £55, but fasttech are selling them for about £35 free shipping. My concern, as always buying from locations such ads this, is it the genuine version or am I going to end up getting some flimsy, dodgy, unbranded rip off that won't last?

I don't really think there is a Genuine Vamo...that being said...I've ordered 2 Vamo v2 SS from fast tech. Both work great. I will say this though. If you are planning on ordering more than just the Vamo...make 2 orders. One for all your other stuff and then one for just the Vamo. The only reason I say this is because when I ordered my second Vamo from them..I ordered it with a bunch of other stuff, and when my package came in, everything with in there BUT the Vamo. They finally sent me the missing Vamo, but took forever for them to make up their mind to send it to me. From reading on the different vaping pages, seems several people have been missing their bigger items here lately, when they order it with a bunch of other stuff.

If you are needing a charger and batteries as well, get the kit with the Panasonic Batteries and charger

https://www.fasttech.com/products/1359402

these, I'm told, are really good batteries and great charger. This was the first kit I ordered from them. Haven't had a problem with either Vamo or any of the batteries or charger.

And with that you will need a Euro to UK plug adaptor (and it`s nice of you to post the link txredxj but the Euro plug won`t work here in the UK as we are weird  and use the 3 pin type :)
Or any "kettle" lead with a UK plug will work, you know the sort, used for ..... kettles/computers etc :)

Follow lilmrsyeti's advice and get the one that comes with the Panasonic batteries and NiteCore charger. I didn't see this one when I ordered mine from Fasttech and got Trustfire batteries and charger which pretty much SUCK!! The VAMO was fine and works great though. I think I paid about $5/6 less. If I had know this before I ordered I would have gladly paid the extra.

I have two Vamo V2s from FastTech and they both work great! Just one thing: I ordered the first one in stainless steel about 2 months ago and it has a shinier finish than the stainless steel one I got last week. Hubby wanted one just like mine, but it's no big deal because he actually likes the flat finish better.

I have used FT from the Uk a dozen times without any major issues, the customer service is good and they offer a longer warranty than most places. Will take 10days to 21 days to get your stuff (10-14 seems to be standard).

If FT state the manufacturers name it genuine, if not it is a generic clone (for Vamo there is no original though)

Check out some of the Liqua fluids (original stuff) at £3.50 for 30mls, menthol, energy drink, tirimasu, chocolate and berry mix are my favourites so far.
