I have a vamo 2 and a vapeonly clearomizer with 1.9 ohms. Why is it that whenever I am over 3.0 volts it's seems as though it's burning my juice? I had a similar experience with a kanger protank.
"The VAMO can determine output voltage and wattage as an Average or as RMS (Root Mean Square). RMS is the actual and true output and is the one to use.
Press and hold the + button for 10 secs. If "no2" is shown then the output is already set to RMS, no further action is required. If no1 is shown, release the button and press again for 10 secs until the display shows no2. This setting should not change after a new battery is inserted but if the vape feels hotter than expected you should re-check this setting."
I did. It seemed like it produced less vapor on rms mode. I haven't tinkered around on it too much though. I never tried switching to watts on rms mode either. I mean it doesn't taste bad on 3 volts were it's at now I just found it odd that it is working well on the minimum setting.
RMS is recommended, Mean,or Average can cause the very problem you are having. Some others will chime in with ideas soon I'm sure. Best of luck, hope you get it figured out.
