I ordered a chrome version 2 10 days ago (still waiting GAAAH!),,,,,,,,Now I wish I'd gotten the SS version,,,,,sigh. Oh well, live and learn.

I'll be ordering a Provari after Christmas though,,,,,so my Vamo will just sit in my closet and be a back up.

I've heard good things about the Vamo :) I can't wait to get mine :)

In a word, YES. Vamo V3 is the best value APV in the world, imho, particularly in stainless steel. I have the V2 and V3 and find the V3 vastly superior in many ways. Originally, I didn't think I would like the ribbing, but while it stands out in the HD pictures, it's hardly noticeable in the hand, and looks fine to me, and easier to grip. The OLED, drip well, and threading with RMS (only) are all good improvements and you can't beat the price for what you get. Best value period, imho. Good job!!

My threading on my FT stainless is kinda poor only works with some of my atomizers. I however have been told its just a good idea in general to get a 510 to ego adapter or a flow controller to put permanently on the vamos. Unfortunately the 510 to ego adapter I got has the threads that don't fit. So now I'm pondering how to semi-permanently affix the adapter.

My blck chrome arrived and I'm toking on it right now. Love the black chrome compared to regular chrome, but I guess I can expect that to be fleeting. That's cool, not a big chrome guy anyhow and I'll JWrap it soon. The swirly tube certainly looks better in person, I don't mind it at all. In fact I like the grippiness of it. So far, so good, I love it.

I'm looking at getting a v3 soon, but don't like the sounds of the center pin issue, since I'll be using protanks most of the time.

I had to send mine back to the vender! Got my replacement v3 in the mail a few days ago. Just not flush mounting my tanks down all the way yet. Working great now!

Have a protank beauty ring?

Install it on the vamos egos threads then turn it out (conical side up) untill the ring is just higher than the 510 connector (look across it), then install the tank.

The tank will seat against the ring, giving it stability/support and will help will that tiny gap you see.

Note the ring installed:
