Do you mean VAMPED brand?

IMHO VAMPED are crap batteries made so B&Ms can wow unsuspecting customers with high Amp ratings.

Try to find some real specs on these batteries.

If you do, please post back. I'm not holding my breath though.

Since these are at a B&M, ask them to show you the "Continuous Discharge rating" or the "C Rating" for that battery.

I've got 6 vtc5s, 4 25r, and 2 efest purple. I sub-ohm with all of them and they all work great. I would bet the vamped batteries are comparable as well, but you can get great batteries for mech mods for a bit less than $14.

So, let me get this straight. You are telling someone that a battery with no published specs will perform comparable to known high quality batteries?

Interesting.

Its a 20A continuous battery, similar to the HE2, Efest purple, or 25r. But, I would get the real deal for a better price.

looks like 20a current and 40a pulse - I can find cheaper batteries at the same spec. Not that I buy the cheapest out there but $14 bucks for a non-Sony battery is pushing the limits of my budget and sanity.

So it looks like this VAMPED is nothing special. I'll keep using my LG HE2 batteries or try the Samsung blue wrap 25r (think its 25r) - I hear these are pretty good. :smokie:

Yup, there are no 40 amp continuous batteries on the market right now and I suspect when that technology is developed it will come from one of the big players like Sony or Panasonic.

If you need 30 amps, RDT Vapor has Xtar branded VTC4's in stock. I understand they are a bit longer than normal. OTOH, I'm also using 25R's and HE2's down to 0.3 ohms in mechanical mods and they are doing just fine.

Yeah I got some HE2 (love em) but the store I got them from switched to VAMPED :nah:
