I've been working on coming up with a great in your face vanilla vape like the vanilla in homemade vanilla ice cream. Rich creamy vanilla. I think I have everything TPA/TFA has that has vanilla on the label with Loranns clear and bourbon, Watkins and McCormick. Mixing them single and at all sorts of strengths and of the better ones blending them together to no avail. I cant seem to get to that heavy vanilla kind of flavor. Getting discouraged I pushed the many test bottles back to see if additional steeping helps any and began working on developing some other flavors of interest, one being graham cracker. In my trials I added vanilla to the graham cracker and wham, there is the vanilla I am seeking. Seems vanilla must have something to lean on before it comes alive, alone it just dosen't seem to come out. Opnions?

For those interested the best vanillas I've tried to date are TPA vanilla bean ice cream, TPA Vanillin and Ellas vanilla custard from High Desert vapes.

i recently switched to all Flavour Art flavors greatly because they seem to be the most open and active company concerning the ingredients of their products.

The FA vanillas have all been really good for me so far.

Have you been playing with your vg/pg levels? sometimes adjusting the ratio a little can make a big difference. It did with the vanilla custard I mixed up.. My mix also seems to really benefit from being left to sit around for a couple weeks.. seems to thicken up and turns a creamy darker brown color. The flavor really changes around then.

Some claim that Holy Vanilla from DIYFS is the best.

Most of the vanilla's are kinda artificial/fake, but need a touch of something else like, coffee, chocolate, or tobacco, to bring it out.

A good Vanilla Ice Cream flavoring would be a "big deal" around these parts...

I had te same problems with making a custard. Hard at work for 2+ months. Buying very custard and vanilla there was. FINALLY PAID OFF! I made the best custard I've ever vaped. Just keep trying man. You'll get it. Try mixing some creams with your vanillas.

What flavors did you use? I am working on a vanilla custard juice.

I mixed 60/40 vg/pg 18 Nic

3 ml

.3 ml Bavarian Cream
.2 ml Vanilla Custard
.2 ml Bourbon Vanilla
1 d EM

US steeped for 1 hour

I think it is pretty good.
