Hello, my name is Chrissy. I think I'm becoming a vapaholic.

In the 3 weeks I have begun vaping, I have developed a collection of juices that will last me the next year (based on 3ml daily consumption.)

I have visited nearly every juice site online and have loaded up the shopping carts with juices that just sounded delightful...after throughly reading reviews on their sites and the reviews on ECF.

I am fighting my addiction, by closing the browser window when I get to the part where they ask for my credit card.

It is getting harder and harder each and every shopping cart.

Tempting.....so very....very....tempting.....

Must not get purse where credit card is hiding.....must not get purse.....

Hello, my name is Chrissy. I'm a vapaholic. :p

Hi Chrissy!
welcome!!! You're in the right place - we're all vapaholics here! I do the same thing - load up my cart, ponder, fight with myself & then close the window before I can place the 2nd or 3rd or 5th order of the day :)

Have you found any favorite devices/APVs, tanks, atties, juices, etc? :)

Welcome Chrissy!!! I hate to say, but if you think for one minute one of us will tell you to NOT buy, you're sadly mistaken. We are the buyinest bunch of people on the planet!! Listen, you gotta try lots and lots of stuff to find what you really like. I'm close to 8 months in and haven't saved a dime yet. I think I'm closeti even, but probly won't ever be,, my cc info is in my phone so I don't have to get up to get it. This is a very bad thing, too convenient. Anyway,, go ahead and buy!!! We're pretty well versed in all things juice & can make lots of recommendations so tell us what you like & we can steer you in the right direction. Oh yeah, and always listen to cheeky :)

Thanks for the welcomes!

I started off on a Nicotek Metro for a few days and realized.....I love vaping. Quit analogs the very first day. Haven't wanted them since. Then I realized that I wanted to be more involved in my experience, so I did some research and opted on a V4L kit-Original Diamond. I liked the idea of manuals and filling my own cartos. I invested in a couple boxes of blank cartos and 2 tanks through V4L. I really love tanks. They are my go-to.

So far on juices, I have tried V4L - Camel Menthol, Jammin, Beach Bum, and Champagne.

Camel Menthol was too mentholly. I purchased a bottle of Camel Reg and mixed it together to make a perfect flavor. Though, I was a Camel Menthol smoker, it is not my go to vaping flavor. Jammin (caramel tobacco) and Beach Bum (hazelnut & banana tobacco) are fantastic. Champagne was only good when mixed with a fruit of some kind. I have tried it with Orange from Tasty Puff and Pomegranate from ECB.

My ECBlends order was a smorgasboard. I ordered 10 bottles with a variety of flavors. I was not too awful impressed enough to buy any of them in larger bottles. Key Lime Pie (my own creation) was good, but my fav of the bunch was actually the Pizza Ria. (I was daring when I placed the order.) It isn't an all day vape, but I swear it tastes like the real thing! The Pom is good, but strong flavor is best when mixed with my Champagne. I'm tempted to order more from ECB because of the price and sticking to flavors that are more to my taste preferences....but I don't know.

Current vendors up for my next purchase....

Mr. E-Liquid (because he used to live in Wyoming and he has received some great reviews and the price is right.)
Alice In Vapeland (because I love the mystical names and the reviews and prices were good.)

On topic of buying more and more juices....My battle is not necessarily with myself so much as with my husband.

Everytime I unveil a new juice, he gets this..."really?!?!" look in his eyes. On top of that his accusing "When did you get this flavor?" He is glad I quit analogs, but chooses not to endorse vaping. Of course that doesn't stop him from stealing it out of my hand so he can try each and every flavor. I nearly have to wrestle it out of his hand to get it back. Last night, I actually had to grab my extra battery and my other tank because he was dominating the tank that I was originally vaping.

Welcome Chrissy!!!!! We are a shopping support group....we support you while you shop!! Believe me if you're looking for someone to jump up and say "Hey don't buy that" you're in the wrong place  we are more likely to peek over your shoulder and say "Hey what you got there?!?!?!!? Let me see!!!" As you will come to know juice is my thang...I can't ever have enough...My favs right now are ECB (just about the entire Dragon's line although I haven't tried the newest and their RY4 with extra vanilla and caramel), Heather's Heavenly Vapes....if you like tobaccos (hell, even if you don't traditionally like tobaccos) Gandalf and Huntsman are AMAZING!!! I have fallen in love with some of their other flavors too like Mayan Apocalypse (chili chocolate) and Pineapple/Mango Smoothie......Just ordered a couple more to try last night but I haven't been disappointed by anything I ordered from them!

Too funny I just placed a small order (like $10) of samplers from Alice last night! One of the flavors is supposed to be just like Captain Crunch Berries which is just about my FAV cereal so I HAVE to try it!! I'm looking forward to getting my order...I already get an email that its on the way!

My hubby LOVES that I have quite smoking so much that he never really "says" anything about how much I have (and do) spend on vape (not that he doesn't think about it).....he just laughs at me every time we go to the sports store and I look at tackle boxes for all of my vaping gear and juices!

Good luck with staying away from the stinkies and welcome to our cozy little family!

Oh and i forgot to mention Mount Olympus....just tried a few of theirs recently and LOVED them....Berry Fluffin Good and Maple Dream were my favs (I didn't care too much for their RY4) and right now they are offering a free 10ml bottle with a $25 order and a few other items. If you're interested I have the emailed newsletter I'll be happy to send you! I like big in your face flavors and I tend to like sweet (really sweet) stuff!

I have heard great things about the Dragon line. Do you add extra flavor to them or are they pretty flavorful as is? The new Dragon's flavor, Dragon's Milk, is on the top of my potential list. My recent favorite shot is Rumchata, which is an alcoholic version of the horchata flavor. If it is right, I will absolutely vape the world out of it.

You just brought up a couple of different vendors I haven't checked out and I am opening up a new window to check them out as soon as I'm done posting. Financially, I really try to keep to lower priced liquids. I'm trying to keep it at below $15/30ml. I smoked 2 packs per week, so I need to keep my bottles below $40 a month to break even to what smoking cost me.

You're budget is a very good idea! I used to smoke 1 1/2 PAD so my budget is a bit bigger :) Just to let you know you will vape much differently than you used to smoke....at least I do, and most folks I have talked to do. When you smoked you had one, put it out then a while later came back and had another. With vape you have this thing with you all the time (OK well I have mine with me all the time) and the flavors are so good sometimes you just vape and vape (careful, don't vape yourself sick, it CAN happen)!
Also, PVs are a less efficient nic delivery system so you may find that you need to do this more often than you smoked.

So don't get discouraged if you go over budget...you'll settle down at some point (ummm don't know exactly when that happens but I'm sure it will) and if you ever need a juice recommendation just let me know what you're in the market for and I'll give you my best guess!

oops...RE: the Dragon Favors...as I said I like big, in your face flavors...I have tried both XF and DXF...and found the DXF is just too much...XF on the Dragons work for me...but DXF on the RY4

edited to add: Don't know if you know but ECBlends has a 30% off coupon that ends today!! "10030" So if you want to try the new Dragon....today is a good day to order!

You know, I've noticed the same thing with the T2's Glen. It's a purer flavor than with my Stardusts. And I've been getting some funky tastes on my Boge 2.0s as well. I thought I was doing something wrong! I guess I'll have to try the 3.0s, though I'll have to stick to my VV devices with them.
Cheeky, here's the link:
Kanger T2 Rebuildable Clearomizer

The Boge cartos I had were the 3ohm XLs, and they had that weird taste thing going on as well. I've read a few posts about the issue and most people are convinced it's a QC thing in China (which seems to happen a lot), so I'll just ride it out with other cartos until the quality comes back.

Cheeky - The Kanger T2s are absolutely worth trying and they're fairly inexpensive with the replacement heads at less that $2 each. Probably the purest flavor I've gotten from a carto so far.

Oh, and I ordered the Cheeky Bonbon and the Berry Shortcake. I'll try the danish another time.

I just placed an order to take advantage of the 30% discount and I got the Berry Shortcake and Blueberry Danish, along with 50ml of the Dragon's Delight and 15ml each of a few of the new Dragon series flavors. Next week is going to be a Cheeky-Dragon week! :D

I haven't tried my creations as made by ECB yet (I ordered big bottles when they were still just my custom creations!), but I generally ordered XF or DXF with them - however I told ECB that when I submitted the recipes, so I don't know if they're automatically XF/DXF or not.. ummm.. start with XF & have some pg/vg on hand in case you need to dilute? :) (Or come to the dang meet & try them there lol)

I got them with XF and I'm sure they'll be awesome!

HA!! She is a Polish Princess!!! Home made pierogies, paprikash, ghoulash, etc all day & night, and the family still has their own smoke house.... omg their sausage :swoon:
And I love the word dupa (thanks for the spelling lesson!!!), too - I can't seem to stop using it, and will use it more now that i know how to spell it :D

Dupa! It's been SOOOOOOOOOO long since I've had home-made pierogi!

Welcome! You are SO going to fit in here! Most of us are on juice quests, Reidus recently had a PV quest and scored some really nice stuff, and I'm on a quest for glass tanks and the ultimate clearo experience. I'm a vapaholic-vape-geek!

ugh...couldn't help myself had to take advantage of the 30% discount at ECB....got some of each of the new Dragons from Delight forward....except the tobacco one....after trying Gandalf and Huntsman I just don't think that any other tobacco will do the trick for me (except ECB RY4)....plus a few others including Monday's Donut based on Luv's recommendation just because of the 30% off. I knew I couldn't stay away! so that's 3 orders in 2 days :D But haven't placed an order in a couple weeks so I figure I'm still OK :)

Its funny I'm good as long as I'm good...but once get goin...Look out!!!! The orders keep rollin'

All up in your grill..
In the last month I have spent over $600 just on batteries, mods and liquid. That's not to sell. That's for me to vape. I've been doing this for a living almost 4 years so you can imagine how much stuff I already have and how completely unnecessary that was. I can't help it. They keep coming out with cool stuff I want.

Hi my name is Mac and I am a vapaholic! lol

It's good to see that the vapaholics are always and forever at the business of keeping these vendors in business! Mac, I can't imagine how much stuff you must have after four years!!! You guys all gave me quite a chuckle tonight.. every time I checked in, somebody had placed an order somewhere! We're quite a bunch, aren't we?

I am LOVING the Clockwork Orange from HHV. And I really want to try more of their tobaccos.. next order, I will.

I am SO excited about the purple E2 I'm getting from Gotvapes.. I bet I have it by Monday:D Pics forthcoming!

Got an email from my son, the new vaper. He's converted two people where he works... YAY!

I'm having a bit of trouble with my ECB stuff.. as it ages, it's getting really thick. Is there any way to thin it out without losing the flavor? My Zoe is getting real dark and pretty darn thick. Is this normal? I've got a big bottle of Zoe with Raspberry that's too strong, and I cut it with some pg but it didn't help much. I'm thinking I might need some good strong vanilla to cut it with.. waddya think?

Can't wait to hear what you guys think of all the new juices you've got coming. Not that I need any, but you know how that goes.

To thin out a thick juice you might try adding about 2% filtered water/vodka/pg. Although the flavor will be dialed back slightly, it's usually a fairly subtle difference and still vapable. If you use vodka the flavor will change and taste more like a mixed drink. Another alternative is to mix a thinner juice that makes sense. For example if you have a real goopy vanilla and add some cherry (if the cherry is thinner) you get a nice cherry vanilla flavor in the consistency you want. Just don't mix cotton candy and menthol. I tried that once and am now scarred for life. (My taste buds still haven't forgiven me.)

LOL, Mac! I don't blame them!
Welcome Chrissy. Piece of advice: a lot of the ECB juices benefit from steeping; that is, store them in a cool dark place for a week or more. For example, I hated most of the Dragon series (excepting Dragon's blood) at first, then after a week as well. It's been like a month and now I love them! So have patience with juices that you thought you'd like and don't.

And Mac's right; I've been on a device binge this summer. I think I'm pretty well set; now I'm on a search for the perfect clearomizer! I really, really like the T2; probably even more so than the new Stardusts.

Speaking of devices, I came across this one:
Joyetech Ego-C Twist 650mah Red Battery [650 twist red] - $19.00 : Vapors Choice, Ecigarettes & Parts

And no, not for me. But I'm hoping to get Mom on a twist and they've got a red one for under $20!

Another juice vendor you might want to consider is Deejstuff. I'm a big fan of their stuff.

Anyway, y'all have a great day! I was planning on cutting my grass this morning; a thunderstorm laid those plans to waste, so I'm probably heading back to bed. :2cool:

Thanks for the tip, Mac. I've got some DI water around here, maybe I'll try a bit of that. I've played around with mixing different juices together with less than stellar results. It was mentioned here before, and I think a good vanilla would go with just about anything.. but do I remember to order any? Of course not!

Reidus, I hope you have a great time at your moms.. and a red Twist?? Shweeeet! I've seen the Twists at VC and his prices are pretty hard to beat. Too bad about your lawn mowing,, we haven't mowed ours in at least a month. No rain up here means dry crispy lawn. It keeps threatening thunder storms but nothing ever happens. We could seriously use some rain. It's going to be near 100 today.. which is probably normal for you southerners, but it about kills us up here. The ER will be full of people who can't breathe today.

Hope you all have a great day.. I have to go turn the air on,,, already!

Hi Luv! Another good mixer is straight sweetener or cotton candy (depending on the flavor). It generally works for fruit or creamy flavors, but be careful not to add too much to the mix or it gets too sweet and hard to vape. I still think that vanilla or a sweet cream flavor would be the best mixer in most cases.

You would think that being in FL, we would have temps in excess of 100 degrees in the summer, but here on the Gulf Coast it's regulated by the water. Most of the time, we're somewhere in the low to mid 90s, but we (or I) really can't survive the summer without my AC running constantly anyway. :D

Welcome Chrissy! You've found a great group of vapers who are happy to share their knowledge with you & support you in your purchasing. I founded the group when I was new like you, and funnily enough, I'm now the occasional voice of reason asking if you REALLY need that new whatever it is you're craving :) Feel free to post here or PM me if you're about to make a purchase you'll probably regret :)

Also, I saw your review of ECBlend on another thread - please give them another chance WITH nicotine - it makes a surprisingly difference in the flavor of the end product - I recently made the switch to 0nic and learned the hard way that it can change flavor in significant & unexpected ways that vary by flavor. :)

Having a tough day, so keeping this short & sweet - Iron Monkey took me to run a few quick errands yesterday (bank drive thru, Target on an electric cart), and the few hours out of the house were way too much for me. I'm very much looking forward to 2-3 years from now when I should be back to a more normal life :)

Hope you're all having wonderful vaping weekends!
