Happy Sunday y'all!!!! I've missed my vapin' fam!! Been out on the road for a week for work, had a conference in NJ and the only wifi was at the conference and they didn't look kindly at me even when I checked my phone so I couldn't whip out my laptop:)

Conference was good but have to say that I didn't enjoy Newark very much...managed to get to NY city one night and was able to get to the 9/11 memorial... talk about mixed feelings, it was all I could do to keep from tearing up.

I have to go back and do some more catching up...man you guys have been busy!! And I noticed we have a couple new folks that popped in to say hi! Welcome, welcome to the group!! We love when new peeps step inside our fun and fab little corner of the vaping world! We are happy to support you in buying anything!!!

Not much to talk about vapewise....since my last huge Alice order over labor day I haven't order any more juice and I'm set on hardware.....well I do have a Zmax on the way..no idea of its eta but I'm excited nonetheless! But have been thinking of ibtanked...awesome tanks a reasonable prices...but a question on their site they say that you need to order a tube and caps with the tank OK I get the caps but what tube???

Oh and I just remembered I wanted to give you a report on flying with vapegear....I didn't have any issues whatsoever!!! And I flew twice with 2 different carriers in the last 2 weeks. I took my Provari, I was somewhat nervous...but put my juice in with my other liquids...took my atty off and removed the battery..batteries I put in a case and put it all with my charger in my laptop bag...went through TSA at 3 different Airports without question!!! Also the flight to Newark was damn long so I stealth vaped in my seat and in the rest room........in the rest room I was careful not to billow plumes of vape at the smoke detector I have heard that vape will and will not set it off so I was just mindful....

Wishing everyone a very happy football Sunday!!!!

Hi Mythus! I have to say that I was never thrilled with Newark, even when I lived in NJ for 7 years. :D

As for the IBTanked tubes, they mean that you need the glass tube and the end caps to make the full tank assembly, not that you need them in addition to the tank. I know the wording they use on the site is a bit vague, so I hope this helps. Just be mindful of the size of the tube and caps your order, since they have to be the same size (19mm vs. 25mm).

Thanks Glen!!! (Oops had to edit. For some reason I was confused on who wrote that. Sorry). So I thought thought they meant you needed to buy a glass tube for the “inside" of the tank but that just didn't seem to make sense....the ability to seal the tank for flying would be perfect!! OK I think you've talked in into it now for the color.....

Hey everyone.. I, too, have been AWOL. My bff from high school was up for the weekend and she and I went to her dad's hunting camp. It's in the middle of nowhere... no wifi, no cell signal, NOTHING! Talk about being out of touch! But we had a ball... fire in the woodstove, cocktails, food, cards... and talk, talk, talk. She laughs at all my vaping gear but I had to take almost everything since there's no recharging at camp..

Not much vaping news going on with me,, haven't made any orders in a long time. I'm trying to use up what I've got around here, I had to toss out a few bottles that were older than the hills and didn't even smell good any more and I seriously hate having to do that. So going to vape up what I've got and then make a big HHV order for the stuff I seem to keep going back to. Their tobacco's are just the bomb, for me. I've really liked every one I've tried so I'll get more of those. And I've been looking at IBTanked too.. I really want a couple of those..

Nice tips Reidus.. you must have quite a stockpile of those!! And I tried to get a look at your newest acquisition but the link didn't work. I think the only hardware I might consider next is a couple more 650 Twists. I like the bigger ones because they last longer between charges, but the smaller ones just fit in my pocket a lot better. And if I have 3 or 4 of them I won't have to worry about dead batteries. I use the VMaxx I won from MVS all the time at home but it's just too big to carry around.

Well peeps, I've been in the woods for three days and I really, really need a shower:blink: Hope you all have a fabulous day!!

Luv, I noticed the link was broken for some reason. Here it is again:

Yeah, I've got a few tips, lol. Between my Trippys and my Sagewoods, I'm probably pushing 20. I"m considering putting a few up on the classy's sometime in the not-too-distant future. I just have to figure out which ones.

Hi Luv! I'm glad you're back and it sounds like you had a great time being "unplugged" for a while. :D

The next time you're planning to venture into the woods for a long weekend, you might want to take a look at a solar charger (below for example). There's some really good ones out there for all kinds of applications, but it seems almost a necessity for vapers who wander without power.
Amazon.com: Opteka BP-SC4000 Ultra Thin Solar Powered High Capacity (4000mAh) Backup Battery and Charger for Cell Phones, iPhone, iPod, and Most USB Powered Devices: MP3 Players & Accessories

As for the OCD Tanks (IBTanked), I would definitely recommend them if you're feeling the need to get another tank. They're very nice aesthetically for the price and the performance is excellent.

Look at you...fun, fun, fun!!!! Yeah me to with Heather‘s tobaccos...I've liked them so much they made me brave enough to try others and I just can't stand em...they all seem to have this weird "nutty" taste (best way I can describe) .....and are all so disappointing....

I should know enough by now to just stay with what works ;)

Mornin Lizards!

Cheeky, it's so good to hear from you! I think of you every time I pull out my Berry Shortcake and my Cheeky Bon-bon. I sincerely hope and pray your problems are only temporary.

I"m not a big tobacco fan, but Heather's gandalf is probably my favorite, followed by Highbrow's Exotic w/a hint of apple. On another note, I've decided I don't like Steven's Surprise in a carto tank (I lose the intricacies of the flavor) but love it in a T2. Can't wait to try it in my Vivi once I get a bigger bottle.

I'm expecting to get my new REO in today. Can't wait to see what the fuss is all about! :D BTW, he's also sending something called a reducer tube. I'd never heard of those and I didn't get any with my Woody's. Apparently, you use them with high-PG juices. Since I don't like such juices (I'm not that big on throat-hit) it's not a problem; just surprised this is the first I've heard of them.

Oh and I just heard from Freddy about my custom Trippy! He's gonna be sending me a drawing of the design. Can't wait! I'll let y'all know about it as it happens.

Anyway, y'all have a great day!

I already see several advantages it has over my woodys. The big one is the door: it slides up and down. It's so much easier to take on and off in comparison to my woodys, especially since I live in a hot, humid climate. It's always a ..... opening up my woodys, and I"m always having to take sandpaper to the doors. Also, the bottle seems easier to fill and refill as well; definitely less messy than my mini-monkey, lol.

Oh and Glen? If you're still looking for a RBA and you have a bottom-feeder, I'd definitely recommend the A7 that I got with my new REO! The draw is outstanding, and the screws and screwholes are much bigger; I don't need magnifying glasses to change the coils.

Mornin lizards, hope y'all are having a great AM!

I"m loving my REO w/the A7 on it! It definitely works better than a carto. In fact, I'm considering getting a couple more for my woodies as well. They look fine on my Boggers, but I'm a bit worried about how it looks on Arlo. Here's a pic, let me know what you think.

I don't have a bottom feeder yet, but I've been eyeing the Reo Woodville VV and they are quite beautiful with the different wood options. I'm thinking early next year, perhaps my 1 year vape-versary, I'll treat myself to one and I'll look at the A7 to go with it. Keep me appraised on your opinion of it as you go through a few rebuilds, if you would be so kind. :D

I think it looks pretty sharp with the contrast between the wood patterns and steel finish of the RBA. If you really wanted to deck it out, there's a guy named Lewis Gentry that works with Eric at Discount Vapers to make all the wood mods. I'm sure he could turn you a nice wood cone and attach it to the shell of an A7. It's worth a thought.

Hi guys! Hope y'all are having a great Friday!
I got my tank in from IBT. It's huge! I got the XL 25mm tank; it apparently holds 8ml of juice! I'll get the regular size next time; I wanted something to use my Resurrectors on. Here's a pic w/my new trippy on it:

Here's a second shot giving you a better idea of the size of the monster:

Oh, and Freddy's starting work on my custom Trippy tip! :rickroll::rickroll::rickroll:

I"ll keep y'all posted on the progress.
