<crickets><crickets><crickets> Geez, it sure is quiet around here! Everyone must be busy with life. I rediscovered the yumminess of a fresh carto today.. my Sexy Beach from Mr E was tasting a bit off. Thought it was me, but noticed the juice in my tank was discolored.. hmmmmm, perhaps a fresh carto? Cleaned it, changed the carto and WOW!! There's that flavor I love! I've decided no more clearos for me.. I'm just a tank kinda girl. Think I'll clean up the vivi and sell that.. I had some Vanilla Love in it, wasn't loving it. Filled a carto and tank with it for comparison and I just plain prefer the carto tank... apparently I like the taste of 'carto'. I went and checked out the IBTanked site... yeah, definitely gotta get a couple of those! Very pretty and reasonable too. Waiting on two juice orders,, I think my ECB should come tomorrow. Can't wait to revisit Zoe!
FYI..... Mr E Liquid having a sale.. Happy Anniversary for 20%off. Had to get more Sexy Beach, and going to try Calypso, Green Dragon, French Toast and Vape Nectar. Apparently my taste buds are looking for something different 
Yep, I got that notification as well. Looks like he got another version of the RBA tank too, which looks pretty good. I'm still holding off for now until I can focus on actually learning the art of building the coil and wick and doing all those fun experiments!
I tend to agree that certain flavors are just BETTER in a good carto/tank setup, especially when the carto is fresh. However, there are some flavors (light fruit flavors, for example) that I still prefer in my CE3s or my T2s. But hey... That's why we have these different options anyway, and it's good to have a few choices with which to work.
I agree, Glen. Strong flavors work much better for me in a carto tank; more delicate stuff I prefer in my T2s.

Happy football Sunday!! Looking for some help and I thought my friends here could give me some suggestions... a friend of mine wants to get her beau off TCs and he is willing to try vaping. Hoosiers has a KGo 1100mah starter kit for $38.00 which I believe is a good deal but it only comes with prefilled cartridges.... I think she needs to pick up some blank cartos or maybe some clearomizers?? Etc but I don't know what to tell her to get for the KGo....I haven't used this type of setup since my first month and there is so much out there..
Oh and I want her to be able to order all from Hoosiers don't want her to have to jump from place to place for stuff... this needs to be easy...

Hey Myth... plain ol cartos are ok, but I much prefer Dual Coil Tanks but use single coil pre-punched cartos in them. I'm pretty sure Hoosier has them. wait......Dual Coil Cartomizer Tank These. That's a decent price on them too. Trouble is, you gotta make sure you like the juice you're putting in them. I use the 3.5ml tanks, not the 6ml. Pre Punched Replacement tank cartomizers These are the cartos and I would use 1.7ohm single coil on a KGO. I bought KGOs there a couple of times.. that's a good price. A lot of people also like these...EGO Vision clearomizers LR 2.1-2.4ohm These are very easy to use and a lot of KGO users love them. Hope this helps.. it's been a while since I've used my KGOs but they're still a good little pv to start out with. Keep converting!!!!
My OCD tank (IBTanked) came in the mail today, and I'm happy to report that it's really nice! The color is a bit darker than it looked in the picture, but still translucent enough to see the juice level, and that's what really matters. The capacity of the standard size tank (19mm diameter) is smaller than both the Phiniac and Siam Mods tank that I have, so I'll be using this one for those flavors a vape a little less often. What I really like about it is the bumpy texture in the finish and the way the end caps are mostly recessed into the tank and very slightly beveled. It's a nice balance of "hand made" (tube) and precision finishing touches (caps), and at a reasonable price.
It's been vaping great so far, and I will be ordering one of their new larger tanks (25mm diameter), probably the solid crimson color.

I am staging an intervention on myself! I think I have hit the sweet spot on devices for my husband and I. I picked up another EGO kit from V4L for him for his birthday so we both have our individual kits (his is green, mine is pink.) Then when I combine that with my VV Detonator from MEL, I'm covered. If for some reason something falls through, I have 4 reg and 1 long VaporKing batts, which work in a pinch. I have 5 tanks with plenty of prepunched cartos saved up for both my 808 and 510 tanks. I have a collections of clearos which seem to last me a month of regular use each dedicated to their specific juices that are best in them. I have XL cartos filled with necessary liquid and a few that are empty. Plus I have my reg cartos, which I have enough stocked to vape for a very long time.
Juices....I have a collections of juices. My husband is a 1 flavor man, which 3 random flavors to spice it up. He has 3 - 30 ml bottles of his fav and full bottles of his randoms. I have found my dedicated coffee vape (MEL's Banana Nut Bread), my fruity vape (MEL's Pure Michigan), my tobacco vape (HHV Huntsman), my menthol vape (MEL's Jade Ice), and my fav all day vapes (MEL's Green Van and Grey Matter.) Plus I have a few large bottles of random flavors from MaddCatt (Flamingo, Vanilla Cupcake, and Jolly Green.)
Summed up.....I'm good. It is time to reign myself in. Until I run out of a juices I cannot live without, I am done. I have 1 last vapemail coming in from MEL, but after that. No more. The goal is to not buy anything for the rest of October and only replace needed juices in November and December. This is in light of the fact we are nearly ready to pay off my student loan this month and are going to get started on making massive payments on the Subaru to get it paid off hopefully by Dec of next year. In order to stick with that goal....no more fun expenditures. Only necessities except for holidays and birthdays.....

Sorry, it's been crazy around here. I'm in charge of handling on-campus interviews (where the accounting firms come onto campus to interview potential new hires) and it's kicking my ....!
Chrissy, famous last words! Congratz on getting out of debt though. I try to live as debt-free as possible. My only outstanding debts is my mortgage (less than 6 years left) my car note (just over 4 years) and my new A/C system, and the only reason I'm financing it is 0% interest for 5 years. I avoid credit cards like the plague!
I'm pretty well set gear-wise. Although I've got 4 twists, 2 of them almost 4 months old that will die sooner or later. I'm getting better at building coils for my Phoenix (I'm gonna try to rebuild them for my Vivi next), and I just bought the DID clone from DV that I'll try to work on after that, so I've got plenty to putter with.
Glen, I'm glad you're enjoying your new tank. I'm planning on getting one in the near future. I"m getting a custom-ordered trippy tip made that I want to get a tank for. And yes, I'll share the pics with you as soon as Freddy sends me a progress report. It's gonna be a fleur-de-lis shape done in purple, green and gold. Perfect for a Nawlin's boy!

Thanks!!!! I've been talking her/them into it since I was using an EGo.... I've sold 2ego starter kits and have purchased a lava tube, provari, a REO mini and a Zmax since then....I'm not as quick on the converts as you!! It was always some excuse...oh after the next Vegas trip, after my birthday etc but the important part is that he's GOING to start vaping!!!!!!!

As for me, I've come down with a bug of some sort. It's going around campus. I've done nothing but sleep all damn day, and I still feel like I could sleep some more.

Chrissy,, you sound VERY well set up! And you have a great plan! You're lucky, you guys found what you like so soon into it.. sheesh, it's taken me 10 months!!!
I haven't been around much because it's been absolutely insane around here. My husband ended up in the ER in the middle of the night over the weekend. Woke up gasping for breath, panicked about it and made it worse. He spent three days in there and discovered he has a heart issue. It's called Bigeminy. I swear, I didn't make that up! (and I dare ya to NOT say 'cricket' after you say it!) He has episodes where his heart does this weird double beat thing.. so he's on medication to try and regulate that. He's ok, and went back to work tonight but I think it scared the beejeezus out of him. OK, me too. Stress plays a big part in it but I don't know how he's going to eliminate the level of stress he has, since it's his daughter and ex-wife that cause him TONS of stress.
On top of that, I got a jury summons. They excused me yesterday since he was supposed to be released from the hospital but I had to go today and guess what? Lucky me, I got picked. It's a criminal case and I'm juror #11. Cripes!!! So I'll spend the rest of the week at the courthouse. They expect it to be done by Friday, but no guarantee. The good thing about it, my work pays me my full pay for as long as I'm there and I don't have to be in court all day and then go to work my regular shift. They used to require off-shifters to work their regular shift after jury duty, until I pointed out to them that THAT is against the law. I printed the law off the NYState govt website and took it right into the HR dept. "ohhhh we didn't know that!" yeah, right.
In the middle of all this, I got an order from MEL and HHV. I love the HHV fruits and tobaccos. The muffins and waffles and stuff... ehhhh. I also got some MEL stuff.. you guys must try the Pure Michigan Ice.. oh my!! There's a sweet tangy fruit in there and a cool blast at the end that is just fabulous!! It was a sample, not anything I would have ordered but I really must get more of that!!
Well kids.. I gotta be in court in the morning.. have a good one!!

I loved Pure Michigan and suggested they Ice it in the forum. They told me to order Pure Michigan (or any of their fruit vapes) and ask for it as an Ice flavor in the comments. I did that and I love it! I'm glad you like it too and I'm excited they are thinking of making it an official flavor. Either way is great. BTW: Their Green Van tastes exactly like the classic chalky candy cigarettes and has become my favorite vape of them all. Also...HHV: I love Dark Horse and Shadowfax.
