I'm glad to see you guys are still hangin out. I'm afraid I'm a total bore lately. Haven't bought anything new, haven't tried much for new flavors. Haven't even really ordered anything lately. I'm trying to use up the TONS of stuff I already have. I think I've pretty well decided that I really like my little pink 650 Twist so I'll pick up a couple more of those... you know, just in case they die, which they will eventually. As for juice, I always go to HHV Just Peachy. It's just what I can vape all day, every day. That, and MELs Sexy Beach and I'm a happy girl. Really, I've got 10 or 12 tanks loaded up but I wear out the JP and the Beach. I don't even really want to try anything else right now. Is it losing it's luster??? Maybe. I think I could be happy with those two juices forever.

Reidus, I'm glad to see you're back home and doing ok. Fox,,, welcome to the party and I wish you luck with your experiments. About as far as I'm willing to go with the home mixing is I ordered some super concentrated flavors from somewhere (don't remember where) to add a tad more peach to my JP. Maybe I should think about mixing my own???? Hi to you too, Glen!

Holidays are upon us,,, and things will get busy. I've been doing a bunch of overtime,, everyone's trying to use up their vacation time. And I'm looking at some surgeries in January. If I'm out of work for as long as I think I might be, you might see a lot more of me here:ohmy:

I hope you all have a fabulous Thanksgiving. Me? I'm going to the casino... no cooking for me! Buffet and the Cowboys on the TV at the bar... that's my kinda holiday:2cool:

Hi Luvinit! I'm kind of in the same boat as you for juices. I have 3 staples (Dragon's Blood, Dragon's Delight, and Raspberry Vanilla Swirl) that I vape 90% of the time and the others I only vape occasionally. The only new hardware I've purchased is the new Kanger T3, but I am still in the market for a better carto if I can find one. The IkenVape Platinum and Kanger horizontal coil cartos are on my radar and I'll probably be giving both of those a try before too long.

BTW - I like your style of enjoying the Thanksgiving holiday! :D

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Happy Black Friday, Lizards! Hope y'all had a great turkey day! As for me, I feasted on pork tenderloin, corn pudding (an easy alternative to stuffing), my famous greens, and a baked sweet potato, with apple cake for dessert. Needless to say, today's a leftovers day, lol. I went out with some friends to the Quarter last night and got in around 2 this morning. Needless to say, I'm suffering for it today (I'm getting too old for all that).
On the vaping front, I got my tank from IBT today. It's awesome, and looks great on my pipe! As much as I love my Phiniacs, it's hard to beat a clear glass tank with ss caps for $28, including shipping.
The only planned order right now is a purple metal Vivi nova tank from MOV. I think it'll look awesome with my FDL trippy tip:

Happy Cyber Monday, lizards! Hope y'all had a great weekend and are taking advantage of the great sales going on.
I've made a couple of vaping purchases in the last few days. In celebration of my upcoming 6 month anniversary of freedom from cigarettes, I bought a Zmax, v2. For those of you who don't know, it's a variable voltage/variable wattage device, ala the Darwin. For those who aren't tech geeks, watts are the amount of heat the device puts out. It's a function of the voltage of the device and the resistance of the atomizer. So with a variable voltage device, every time you change atomizers (ie, clearos, carto tanks, etc) you have to adjust the voltage to get the desired amount of heat (watts). With a variable wattage device, you select the amount of heat, and it will read the resistance of the atomizer and adjust the voltage accordingly. Oh, and the Zmax is Ego compatible, so my T2s, stardusts, etc. will work w/o needing an adaptor.
My other purchase is the little sister of the zmax, the Vamos. It does everything the zmax does, but it's half the price and can be set up as a mini. It's for Tara as a Christmas present. I hope to get her back on the wagon, so to speak.
Related to that, Glen how do you like the T3s? Tara's got several T2s already, between hers and the ones Mom had. I'm planning on getting her a Vivi as part of the setup, but might consider the t3 instead.

Hi Reidus! I've been working with the T3, and to be honest, it's not much different from the T2. The vape is a bit cooler and dryer (not sure why it's dryer), but the flavor and vapor production is right on par with the T2 for the most part. The only advantage I see so far is there is no need for tipping as your juice level gets lower, but I've never had any real issue with that on the top coil clearos I've used. I'd recommend getting one with your next order and a few extra heads to give it a go and see if you like it.

The Zmax sounds like a real nice device, but I don't know that your T2s will work without an adapter. I think I read that the juice well is just a bit to narrow to handle the wide base of the Kanger T2 and T3 clearos. Definitely want a review of both devices once you get them! :D

Hey Glen have you tried a Vivi Nova and a Stardust? The reason I ask is I want a comparison between them and the T-3! Curious how they compare? Thanx

Yes, I have the Vision 2.0 (aka CE5) and I have the ViVi Nova (v2.5). Pretty much all the Vision clearos I've tried are really good, but I prefer the Kanger T2 and T3 mainly because of the "cleaner" taste, but they all provide good vapor and throat hit. It's hard to describe, but I'm guessing it's the wick material they use and it doesn't seem to taint the flavor at all. If you're looking to do a comparison, Discount Vapers has all of them currently in stock at decent prices.

The SplitFire tank is probably going to be the next one that I try:

Mornin lizards. Hope y'all are having a great day!
Glen, I hope you're wrong about the T2s and the Zmax. I've already ordered Tara a Vamos (a zmax clone, kinda) and was planning on her using her T2s on them, as she's already familiar with them. Also, I was planning on using my Zmax to replace my twists as they die. We'll have to see. Hopefully, they're coming in today or tomorrow. Unlike my order from MOV, which is for some reason going to Oakland, CA!
Forman, I love my Vivi Nova. Probably even more than my T2s, but it's close. They're incredibly easy to clean, the heads are simple to change, and they leak even less than my T2s (I've had a problem with a couple of them leaking, as well as several of my Stardusts). The only time my Vivis leak is when the head's not on tight enough. Which is why when you refill it, make sure the head doesn't loosen when you unscrew the cap. The other reason I prefer the vivis is that I can use my Trippy tips on them.

Yea Reidus, but the isolator sleeve keeps tearing on my heads and can't find a suitable replacement or were to buy them? If I could figure out something else to use or were to get some of them I'd be VERY HAPPY, lol

Forman, I'm not sure what you mean by the isolator sleeve. The little plastic cap? If so, I have no idea. I don't try to actually rebuild the heads on my Vivi, I simply buy new heads.
Big vape-mail day for me today! I got both my Zmax and my Vamo in! Bad new is that Glen's right; the T2s won't fit on either device w/o an adaptor. Good news is that I don't mind the look of a T2 w/the adaptor on either device. Now the dilemma: I was originally planning on giving the Vamo to Tara for Christmas and keep the Zmax for myself. I'm still likely to, for the simple reason that the Vamo is much easier to operate: no menus to figure out. Tara would go mad trying to figure out how to raise and lower the wattage, not to mention how to change from wattage to voltage on the zmax, lol. That said, the Zmax is a much more polished looking device; the Vamo looks clunky and is huge with the sleeve on. Also, the + and - buttons rattle. The other disadvantage of the Vamo is that it doesn't come boxed; this means I'll have to find a box for it, unless I punt and get a gift bag. :D

I agree that the easier to operate device (Vamo) would probably be the better gift. As for wrapping, an idea might be to find a decent carry case to put it in and wrap the whole thing up. Maybe an extra large eGo case, or something similar.

Another AWOL!!!!! Heyya!!!! Since I made the decision to slow my purchases in September, I have stuck with it. I have made a few juice purchases, but no new devices. I like my Detty for special use and my V4L egos w/ carto tanks for everyday use. It's the thing that works for me. As to juices, my primary purchases have been to replenish stock. I have tried a few new vendors, but just like Luv, I stick to HHV and MEL juices. I did win a juice from TVR and found a great liking for their Lemon Meringue. It might become a regular, but MEL's Green Van kinda wins out over all other juices for me right now. My husband is the same way, but for him it is all about HHV Huntsman. Not very exciting.

What is exciting? I've been spreading information about vaping. When people see me with my device, they always ask questions and want to try (I carry around a spare green drip tip so I can switch it out to allow people to try without getting their germs). I love questions!!!! I inform them and like a vape nerd, I carry around the vape cards that V4L, HHV, and MEL send me so I can hand them out. I also write down ECF's website on the cards so they can get more information. Wyoming is not known for being up to date on happening trends, but at numerous establishments, I have spread the word. I even talked to a therapist (real job-related) about my journey with vaping and gave them information about it to help clients who wish to quit smoking. I think that is my favorite part of vaping now. Rather than collecting stuff for myself, I love giving others the chance to get into the experience.

For Christmas, I ordered some tanks to put in my husband's stocking and I may order a few to slip into my own. I will probably need to also put in a replenishing order for our classic flavors and I may even toss on a random flavor...but really....In essence.....I think I may no longer be a vapaholic. I'm content with what I have.

I really just popped in to check in and tell ya'all hello and that I think of ya!

Hi Chrissy, we've missed you!
Mornin lizards. Hope y'all are having a great AM! I've reached a decisions regarding Tara's Christmas present: I've ordered her another Zmax and I'm keeping the Vamo. The Vamo is huge, and the Zmax really isn't that much larger than the 1000mah twist. I figure that I'll help set it up initially; after that she really only needs to be able to adjust wattage up and down, which isn't that hard. BTW, I love both my Zmax and my Vamo!

Foxman - Have you tried asking about the insulators in one (of the many) ViVi Nova rebuilding threads? They might be able to lead you in the right direction.

Chrissy - From vapaholic to vapevangelist! We can accept that, but you still need to check in every once in a while. :) I'm in the same boat as far as purchases as of late and my only new toys have consisted of a Kanger T3 and another tank from IBTanked (that I ordered last night). Between the Kanger clearos and my carto tanks, I'm pretty much set and have no real need to get more stuff. (famous last words)

Reidus - Have you seen the new Joyetech eVic information yet? Some of the features appear to be taking vape gear in a very "geeky" direction, which I like. Check out the link below when you get a chance.

Glen, that's the first I've heard of it. I'm moving towards a maintenance mode myself, kinda. I can't see me needing any other devices, since I've found my nirvana with my zmax, and my vamo to a lesser degree (I'm already having an issue with the - button not working consistently). I'm planning on putting my lavatubes on the classys after the first of the year, and maybe one of my woodys as well. I'm not sure if I will be replacing my twists as they die or not; I'll cross that bridge when I get there. My pipe will be my signature device at school, lol.
As far as tanks go, while I love my Phiniacs, it's kinda hard to be the IBtanks. Several of the folks on the Trippy Tips forum say they've had problems with the endcaps coming loose, but I haven't had a problem with them. I"m pretty well set on tanks as well, between my carto tanks, my Vivis and my T2s.
My weakness is and will probably continue to be Trippy tips, lol. I"m trying to be more strategic in my purchases: There was another sale tonight, and I bought 2:
dsc0420gn.jpg This one I bought to go on one of my Phiniacs with the delrin end caps.
and
dsc0443lo.jpg to go on my pipe.

Hi lizards! Hope your week's starting off well!
Well my issue with the button on my Vamo was transitory; it went away the next day and hasn't returned. I think I must have gotten some juice in it or something.
I got my mini-vivi nova in. It rocks! It's basically the same shape as the Zmax, so it looks awesome on it.
