Just checking in, lizards. I got home okay. Turned right around and went and got things settled with the funeral home. Today was spent getting my nephews clothed for tomorrow's service (I of course did some needed shopping as well). Needless to say, I'm exhausted. Luckily, except for needing to go and pick up the tailored suits tomorrow, I've got nothing planned until the service tomorrow at 5:00. Hopefully, tomorrow will be a slow day. I never knew how exhausting it was to receive condolences from everybody. The phone hasn't stopped ringing in 2 days. Y'all be good; I'll keep everybody posted.

Hi guys. Hope you're having a great day!
I am officially visited out! Last night was the memorial service. The church was packed! We had 150 programs made and they ran out! I got to see so many people, some I haven't seen since high school! There was a visitation/reception afterwards and it was truly wonderful. Think wake, minus alcohol. There were so many great stories.
Today, we drove 2 hours south to bury her ashes by my grandparent's graves. This time, there were around 30 people there, mostly extended family and some of her friends from way back when. Afterwards, we went to my cousin's, for more food, more conversation, etc. I"m in a much better space than I was before. Now I'm ready to get back to normality.
Y'all have a great day! I'll keep you posted; right now I'm planning on driving back home on Sunday.

Reidus - I kind of know what you mean. I'm coming up on the 5 year anniversary of my mother's passing and I can still remember the service and reception. I'm not an unsocial person, but was so tough to deal with that many people right then, many of whom I hadn't seen in years, if ever. Also, trying to figure out the best way to answer people when they gave me very sincere condolences and heart felt wishes for me and my brother, so I just said "thank you" a lot. It was months before I got over the shock of everything and finally locked myself away for a weekend, got drunk, and just let it all out.

I'm glad you're feeling better and that you had family and friends around to share your pain. Be well and try to take joy in all the blessings that come to light in difficult times.

Reidus, I'm happy to hear all is as well as it can be. I lost a younger brother and several aunts and uncles l;ast year. I thought it would NEVER END, but it will never go away, but it will get better. You and your family will be in my prayers for AWHILE. I dread the day when mine goes to see her folks.

Actually I got back on Sunday evening. It's taken me this long to get caught up enough to get back in touch. It's good to be back.! Had a bunch of vape mail waiting for me to pick up on Monday, including some juice from Ms T and several new trippys. I'll get pictures posted sometime this week. Well, I've commenced with my experiment today. Just placed an order with ECB. I ordered several sampler bottles of my faves with double extra flavor at the 50/50 mix I typically use, and the same juices with extra flavor at 80/20. I'll let y'all know which carries more flavor when they get here.

I've been toying with the idea of dropping to 6mg in the evening, since I really don't need that much nic at that time of the day and I really enjoy the flavor. Please do let us know how your experiments work out and I'll follow suit. Of course this means that I'll need a special set of tanks for my low nic juices...

This weekend has been rough. Got my tank for my e-pipe in on Saturday. The damn thing leaks! The only saving grace is that with the long adaptor, I can add my own tanks, so right now I've got a standard Phiniac on it. It's a bit wide (the DCT tanks actually are a better fit, but the colored tanks are just wrong), so I'm ordering a clear 19mm IBT tank w/black SS caps.
This brings me to the next disaster. I was going to take pics of the various tanks on the pipe to share, as well as my new tips, but I dropped my new camera and broke the damn thing! Had it less than a month and it's toast!

My juices came in today, and after quick-steeping, I have some preliminary results. I ordered 5 different 6mg ECB juices in sampler size, one with double xtra flavor at my normal 50/50 mix, and one with xf at 80/20 PG/VG. There is no conclusive winner, but I have some generalities to share. First, the flavor of each is superior to my xf 50/50 which is what I've been using. Second, the dxf brings more fullness of flavor to the mix, where the increase in PG brings the flavors more upfront. My best results in general came when I combine the 2. Thus, my next orders will be dxf at 70/30, which is about what the combined juices would be. I was worried that the dxf would be too strong. I'm happy to say it hasn't been the case so far. I hope that helps.

Absolutely! Do you recommend XF or DXF with your creation, or just go with the default mix?
