YAY YOU GOT YOUR MINI!!!!!!! Are you in  yet? :)

TOTAL and COMPLETE!!! Exactly what I was looking for!!!!! Something that I could use to stealth vape easily!!! Provi will still be my main vape (of course) but any time I feel that I will need to be a sneaky.....she'll be out :) No names are popping in my head yet

OH! super shorty carto co-op is here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo.../301832-smoktech-mini-cartomizers-1-7ohm.html

Speaking of co-ops, there is a Panasonic 18650 co-op in the works - 3.89 per battery, includes insurance in case of defects. Fantastic price - still room to get in on the co-op, and you can choose flat top or nipple top. The nipples are great for the provari with ext cap (I have 2 from smartvapes, and was planning to order more - this is less than half the price!)
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...flat-top-nipple-top-safe-chemistry-cells.html

Have to look into the cartos....heard about the battery co-op GREAT PRICE!!!!

Did I tell you how beautiful that tank looks?!?!?!?!?!!??!?!?!?!?!

On a vaping-related note, can somebody explain to me the deal with variable voltage devices? I was looking at Glen's XL3. It's the only woody other than the e-power I like (the other option was the Go-Go, and quite frankly, the wood version is ....-ugly :D ). I think I know the basics: the way to vary vapor and flavor is either to vary the voltage or vary the amps (through varying the ohms of the carto/atomizer). I currently have 2 devices, my E-power and my V2 ecig. They both put out a reliable 3.7 volts. I'm using 1.7ohm and 2.0 LR cartos on my E-power, and a SR carto on my V2. The vapor on my V2 isn't as much as with my E-power, though the flavor of some of my juices (particularly the Highbrow juices) is better. Is the advantage of the vv devices that I can find a carto, tank, etc. that I like and simply vary the voltage for the different juices? Or am I missing something?

And it's funny; the only ingredient I didn't already have on hand was the white pepper, lol.
I emailed the recipe to myself & realized the same thing - all I need is white pepper lol Love a well stocked kitchen!

The name will come to you, just start tossing names around & BAM it'll hit you like Emeril seasoning something in the kitchen (gotta keep the LA thing going :) )
And thank you! I'm really enjoying the Bella tank! It vapes beautifully! I'm already on tank #2 since she came in from the mail box a few hours ago :smokie:

Welcome back Reidus!!!!! You got me thinking about some kinda good food....my taste buds adore you...my hips on the other hand are cursing you...

Red Beans & rice are good for you! Together they create a complete protein, and they're full of fiber! :)

Hey LUV....I just made reservations for Vegas...interested??????:rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::party::party::party::party::party::party::party::party::party::party::party::party::party::party::party::party::party::party:

Variable voltage is pretty neat if you like to dial in the perfect voltage for each juice & carto you use. Since getting the provari, I now see that cartos of the same resistance can vary in ohm fairly signifantly - for example the SR Boge I put in the Bella today registerd at 2.9ohm, while one I used a few days ago was 3.3ohm. It seems like an insignificant difference, however it can really impact the flavor of your juice, and whether or not a sweet juice will burn in your carto. The VV allows you to vary your voltage in .1v increments to find exactly the right warmth & flavor for the juice you're vaping.

I'm really starting to understand the lure of the Darwin (ruhroh, I know) - with the darwin, you set your preferred WATTAGE, and the darwin does all of the work in calculating the Voltage to pull for any atty or carto you put on it to maintain the wattage you've set, and of course, you can vary your wattage :)

With all of the LR & DC carto/atty options available these days, I don't know that VV is necessary for everyone (Luv for example isn't Luvinit - yep, I went there :D), and it isn't always necessary - you can vary the warmth & find the right ohm for each juice with a little bit of trial & error while using an eGo or epower, etc :)

Luv - Congrats on the Beta test group! Can't wait to hear about all of the goodies you get to try early!!

Funny story... tonight Iron Monkey decided he was going to make hot sauce using the Red Savina Habanero peppers growing on our balcony. All was well, until he started simmering them on the stove... as we started coughing, choking, sneezing, and daubing our watering eyes with tissue, he mentions that the recipe and reviews of the recipe all suggested cooking outdoors on a camp stove because of fumes. Umm.... might have been a good idea to follow that set of suggestions before creating tear gas in our kitchen lol!!! After a few hours with the windows open & fans directing the fumes out towards our unsuspecting neighbors (who are now probably wondering why their eyes itch now lol), we can finally breath without looking like outlaw bandits with bandana's covering mouth & nose in an attempt to breathe without choking on the hot pepper fumes lol (the Red Savina is one of the hottest peppers in the world, coming in between 350,000-575,000 on the Scoville scale - Iron Monkey just haaaaad to grow them, and accidentally make a mild pepper spray on my stove )

LMAO! I'm glad I'm not the only mope around who does such things, though I haven't made tear gas. I have, of course, made the mistake once of not properly washing up after dicing jalapenos (not habaneros, that goodness) and scratching my eye. The screams of pain could probably be heard a block away, lol. I'm gonna wait until I get to try out the DC E-power cartos before making any decisions on a VV.

Cheeky, you were mentioning sweet juices burning easier. That explains why I can't vape the Orange Sangre on my 1.7s, but the Tiramasu is fine. I never knew why. Thanks!

OOOOMMMMGGGG!! Me and Mythus in Vegas???? It would be epic!!! EPIC, I TELL YOU!!! When are you going?? I'm so stinkin jealous, I can't even tell you! See, I need to win the lottery or sumthin,, cuz I really need to go to Florida,,, and now I really need to go to Vegas:toast:

I did the same thing with jalapenos... only it wasn't my eyes I got,, I made some salsa (and I always use lots of jalapenos).. nice big batch. Then I went and showered.. and washed some delicate parts and HOLY CRAP!!! Now I keep a stash of gloves from work in my kitchen and wear those when I do such things.. BIG lesson learned!!

I think my biggest problem with the VV was all the STUFF. You got lower ohm cartos for the KGO, then you got higher ohm cartos for the VV device, then you got double coils which won't work on the VV and so you have to have single coils.. I had such a collection,, and then you gotta label everything cuz it all gets mixed up and heaven forbid you clean those cartos cuz then you REALLY don't know what you've got. Then I had some cartos that just wouldn't fire on the lavatube.. it got very frustrating. I noticed a difference with some carto/juice combinations but nothing too awfully significant. IDK,, maybe I just wasn't doing something right. (as usual) I'm still really happy with this epower thing.. so last night I was looking at other epowers,, twists,, my only complaint with the twist is I think it's not a removable battery. Maybe that's not a big deal? Seems the more I learn, the more confused I get. And just when I think I'm done buying stuff,, there I am, looking again. Maybe I should just wait to see what Gotvapes has in store for new stuff.

Rainy and chilly here today.. have to do the grocery thing (gotta get some beans!) and then going to the casino with our friends. Wouldn't it be nice if I could win enough money to buy TWO plane tickets!!! (***sigh***)

Have a great day everyone... will check in on ya later!

Mornin, Lizards! Talked to Mom this AM; the red beans and rice were a huge hit! She said she had less than 2 servings left by the end of dinner. And since she had set them out the night before to defrost, they only had the stove on long enough to heat them up, as the rice had also been made ahead by someone else. No kitchen hell!

Ouch, Luv. I commiserate. That had to really, really hurt!

I also worry about the amount of stuff I'd have to get w/the VV stuff. I already have 2 devices, 3 different types of cartos and numerous bottles of juices. I've already got a different carto on order as well as more juice. And for the really sad thing: I have a 2000 sq foot house. I live alone. And I still have no unused storage space, lol. Right now, I have juices steeping in the cabinet with my dishes, lol. I'd hate to have to do an add-on just for storage space for my vaping. :D

Yes, I think EPIC is just the right word!!!

Yes, yes, yes.....and also, don't know if you are the same but my vaping varies from day to day and depending on what's going on in my life hour to hour...sometimes I need warmer vapor and a bigger hit (example later in the day or when I'm a tad upset) or warmer vapor is better for sweeter bakery type juices like waffle, which happens to be hittin my atty right now :) or cheesecakes etc. while cooler vapor is better on a hotter day or lighter juices typically fruits or ice cream flavors, malts etc. or when I'm just going about my normal day...

Yes....the Darwin has been on my "huuummm" list as well...did you hear about the new DNA card? $35 VW card so you can build you own mod....

Also, just my :2c: I don't think the "stuff" needed is any more then you need for anything else really. A battery, an atty or carto (which you can use on its own or slot it or punch it for a tank) or ViVi or Stardust or......You can use ANYTHING and just for LUV....you can use a dual coil carto on a Provari, in fact it works VERY VERY well, however, the LT just doesn't have the umph to push it. I know they use the same battery and work on the same premise but the Provari just has more umph also the Provari keeps the hit steady even as the battery wears down the voltage remains constant where the LT will slowly wain and while the display may say it is at 4.5 its really not pushing that much. I don't know how to describe it technically so I just call it UMPH...

Well Reidus.. I, too, am considering an addition to the house. This is my tool box, about a month ago. It's much fuller now:blink:
Seriously, it just never ends!

Went to the store this morning and got all the stuff for the red beans. Can someone please tell me how to save that darn recipe? The best I could figure out was to paste it on a sticky note on my desktop. It's ok, but I can't figure out how to make a document out of it. I've got the free version of Windows office stuff and I hate it.. can't figure out how to use it. Guess I'll just leave it on the desktop and someday write it on an actual piece of paper to put in my cookbook. Going to soak the beans overnight and put it all together tomorrow.

Project for the day is to change out some tank cartos.. I think they're getting gummed up. Fresh new cartos should do the trick. Must prepare for the casino trip.. can't be running out of stuff there;)

Is today vapestock? I think today is vapestock? If it is, we know where Cheeky will be today. Maybe even Glen.. I'm sitting up here being green. Maybe next year, if I know far enough in advance.

Got vapework to do so have a great day everyone.. check on ya later..

COME ON!!! June 17-20....Free room....had to do it...planning on pool and spa time by day and drinks and gambling by night...I can change the room to a double Queen :) EPIC, EPIC, EPIC!!!!!

I can check the ohms with the Provari but most atty's now-a-says have an imprint of the ohms right on them.....but I do need to upgrade my tool box to a tackle box...found the perfect one at Walmart for $17....

then going to the casino with our friends. Wouldn't it be nice if I could win enough money to buy TWO plane tickets!!! (***sigh***)

Wish me luck folks. I just tried cleaning my cartos using the boil method. I boiled them 5 times for 5 minutes each, let them cool down, blew them out ( a cardio workout in and of itself, lol). I then put a bit of paper towel in each of my shotgun shell rack slots, stood them up in the slots and took it outside to sit in the sun. I'm hoping the 90+ degree weather will work to my advantage, lol. Now I just have to watch for afternoon showers, lol.

Love your toolbox, Luv. I think I'm gonna need to get one of those myself. I figure I can continue to use my ammo case for travel and get another box for storage.

Oh and Myth, I agree about different vaping needs throughout the day. I find I can get over my craving for that first cig in the morning by vaping MOV's Spring Rain in my 1.7s. Great throat hit and just enough menthol to make me think I'm smoking, lol. Come midday, I generally switch to something fruitier, like one of my peaches (can't make up my mind which of the 3 I prefer, lol.). Come night-time I generally switch to HB's Cappucino Diablo, w/cream and sugar.

Whoa! So much to respond to! Love it when you're all chatty :)

Where to begin....
Reidus - there really isn't that much more stuff needed for VV Vaping, it's just a litle bit of different stuff if you go with a Provari (as Mythus said, the Provari can handle most dual coils, and you can always snip the top to increase the resistance!).

Easy way to keep things organized for cleaning: multiple labeled ziplock sandwich baggies! Each baggie is labeled with ohm/resistance, and when you're cleaning them, you do it separately, and dry them in groups. Easy Peasy! Might be a little more work if you're boiling them, but simple to do if you use the syringe super flush method :)

Or, you could invest in an inexpensive multimeter (5$ @ harborfreight.com), and check your ohms/separate them after they've dried - again, labeled baggies work wonders in keeping them all straight :)

On the jalapeno/hot things accidents, my mom once grabbed what she thought was a tube of cream for delicate areas, and accidentally grabbed a tube of capsaicin... a few seconds after applying a very generous dollop of "cream", there was a scream heard round the world, a fast shower that only speed up the burning (she learned you can't wash it off), and ice packs were in use for days - she refused to admit what she'd done until the following day, at which point I got the giggles... she was not amused & told me I was grounded. I laughed more & called my Nanny, who also got the giggles. lol poor woman. She was always VERY careful to check labels after that - it was more than 15 years ago, and she STILL keeps capsaicin in a designated area, away from all other tubes lol

Mythus - I've heard good things about ah-lusions juices! As always, tastes will vary, but they seem to be well liked.
Luv & Mythus together in Vegas would be epic - I volunteer to be chaperon next time - the trouble the two of you could find in Vegas is mindboggling :)

I've noticed that even the atties with their ohms imprinted on them can vary a little bit - they're usually close to what the wrap indicates, but not always spot on (though .1 either way isn't a very big deal!) - I think I just like checking it cuz I can lol

Luv - easiest way to save a recipe is to copy, paste & send it to yourself in an email :D Then you can print that email out, and file it under recipes in your email so you can find it again easily if you lose the print out :)

Win big big big so you can come play at VapeStock next weekend (it's next weekend - there's still time!!!!!!!) :D

Mythus - I hadn't heard about the new VW DNA card!!!! That makes me want to build a mod even more than I wanted to before! I may have to head over to the modding forum and browse VW's for a while! (the benefit of being on leave for so long - 7mo now- is that there is plenty of time to read up on whatever catches your fancy!)

I DO love the ability to vary my voltage depending on day, mood, juice, etc - warmer for some, cooler for others (for example, Dragon's Dream reminds me so much of an orange push-pop that I like it cooler, while cheesecakes are best a bit warm... I love juice!!!)

OH! I found another bottle of deejstuff with about 5ml in it! Tiramisu, 24mg, 200% flavor - up for grabs my darling juiceaholics!

I'll be typing up the last of my juices today - if anyone wants the list before the juices hit the classies, shoot me a PM with your email address, and I'll get it sent out :)

I think that covers most of what I missed this morning :) Hope you're all having a wonderful, happy vaping Saturday!
 & hugs to all of you :)

Argh! Have you ever had one of those evenings where none of your juices taste good? Is there anything I can do about it?

Those nights/days suck! My solution is to vape straight 100% VG menthol, or plain VG (or a pg/vg mix if you prefer) - it isn't ideal, but your tastebuds should come back in the next day or so - you can also try again in a few hours, the little break might perk your tastebuds back up quickly! :)
