All of the other event seem to be at times I cant get away, so this is nice that its close. Lots of vendors too!

My wife was like, "well I donno if I want to go.". and I told her we would get a room, she was on board quick! 
High on top of a rocky crag, overlooking Cloudland Canyon in NW Georgia, an odd, blue avian emits a tremendous "CAW!" He spreads his wings and catches a very strong, thermal, that sparkles with reflected bits of whimsy and the fantastic, and begins to soar high above the Peach State. Flying over Rome, he looks Eastward to Atlanta, and continues his amazing flight. Circling three times around Macon, he nods toward Columbus, and jetting East spies Augusta from afar. He turns right and flies over Macon, contining South passing Albany, Cordele, Valdosta and Colquitt, on to the coast and the Marshes of Glynn. Catching another glowing thermal, near Savannah, he jets up ward, and East, flying over Brunswick, Alma, and Jekyll Island nodding toward Jacksonville Florida! He flies faster and faster and attaining amazing speed jets on until, at last he is approaching the floor of the "vape-A-Palooza 2013 in Atlanta" thread where a plain brown wooden perch -with a bevel cut on one side of the "T"- rises ceremoniously from the ground and he lights upon it gracefully. He pulls his wings in tight and opens his Byrd beak and a platinum "YB" medallion, around his neck begins to glow a soft Peach color. You hear a deep, smooth, male, Latin voice translating his utterances:
"Hail, greetings, lauds and salutations fellow Vapers! I -and Mrs. Byrd- will attend."
Yardbyrd opens his right wing and then his left. His faithful realm travelling perch sinks into the ground below yet he hangs, levitating in the air. The sound of "Midnight Rider", by the Allman Brothers Band, is heard and he opens his beak, yet wider in an unmistakable Byrd grin. Suddenly, a brownish, figure eight shaped, pocked mark shell surrounds and encases him! As the peanut shell breaks away Yardbyrd, begins to fade, slowly, out of existence. His final words are clear as he dissipates into a cloud of decidedly Peach smelling vapor: "Viva vape-A-Palooza!"

I'd like to go, but it's not looking good at this point. If I can get there, it'll be on Saturday.
I didn't see a price listed on the web-site. I live 20 miles north of Atlanta....if it's free, I'll be going for sure. If not, i just can't afford it
80 miles give or take.
That'll be a 1.5 hour to 7 hour drive, depending on Atlanta traffic
(Given that it's the Friday after a holiday, 1.5 hours is probably correct as long as there is no construction.)ETA: If you're looking for it on a paper map, this hotel is near I-85 on the south side of the city, next to the airport.

The even is free but funds will be raised for the wounded warriors chairty through tshirt sales, and collectible lanyards. Also raffles and silent auction.

Wife and I are going. Bribed her with getting a room at the Hilton and taking her out for a nice dinner Friday night. She doesn't vape or smoke.
