Same thing on my Classic. Really my only con on the device.

Weird, eh? I wonder if it was intended this way.

I guess it doesn't really bother me that much but it just seems a bit strange.

My only other con so far is that the fire button sticks occasionally but I think this will fix itself with time.

My fire button stuck at first as well. After a day or so it is working perfectly.

Still don't understand why the screen is so dim. Might shoot an email to VF support to see what they have to say.

It's dim because it's behind a tinted window, not sure what you're expecting they do. If it wasn't tinted, you'd see the chassis behind that holds the display then people would complain about that.

Is this a Good Design? Using Tinted Acrylic so you can't see Chassis. But makes the Display Hard to Read.

Don't know but it seems to be a moot point since it is what it is. I myself have no issues with the display but then again, I never have to use it in bright sunlight because I live in Rochester, NY ;)

I just keep Hearing this Little Voice in my head which keeps saying... "Is this the Best you can come up with? Isn't there a Better Way to Achieve More?"

Maybe it is because I have been involved in Manufacturing on the Design End of things. And that was kinda a Mantra that was Repeated at Every Stage of the Design Phase.

So I e-mail the gang at VF and they told me they were aware of the issue. They said complaints but I have to say overall I have no complaints I like the mod! They made no commitments but said they are working on something and when there is an update for that issue they would announce it on multiple formats.

I have to say that the tech group at VF is still rockin, 12 hours to respond to my e-mail is pretty damn good. And for what it's worth has anyone every made the perfect device? Just on this page alone there are members that like the screen dim and those that don't. I'm not sure you can please 100% of the people 100% of the time.

Well I was impressed with Shop12south.com when I ordered Friday evening, mostly due to get a personal email from matt thanking me for purchasing from his store, went on to tell me they don't ship at weekends, but would send it out priority mail Monday (today), but that hasn't happened, not to concerned, but don't like being told something like that and then not happening, if doesn't ship tomorrow, then will be emailing matt back to see what is going on.

Matt's a good dude. I'm sure he will do the right thing. I've ordered from him twice so far and I have yet to be disappointed. He also has some of the best prices on VF products I have ever seen.

Anyone else getting resistance jumping in wattage mode?

Everything cranked down properly - tested on multiple attys (rta and pre-built coil heads).

I haven't noticed any problems like that on mine. Sounds like it might be a loose connection or bad solder joint. Send a email to vape forward, I hear they have great customer service.
