The stout is a fine mod but it is really mistargeted. Even if there were 40 amp CDR 26650s and 100 Watts was reasonable battery life would still be poor. 100 watt mods need two cells.
As a 5-60 watt mod it is great. If you are using it to tootle puff to midrange modwomping it isn't a bad mod. At lower current draw (<50 watts) voltage sag isn't bad enough on a 26650 to trigger the weak battery protection and the extra mah a 26650 has over an 18650 is quite noticeable.
I use my stout with a SS coil/SS mesh setup in TC mode that doesn't require more than 25 Watts, at 22.5 I get two days off an orange MNKE, which is a bit better than the VTC mini operating at the same wattage.
I really like my Stout and want to defend it, but it is really only a great device for a subset of vapers (I.e. people that want a 1-60 watt mod that lasts longer than a single 18650 regulated. The notion that it is usable past 60 Watts is unfortunately wishful thinking.

Sadly the Stout may not be all alone with the 26650 battery voltage sag. I have the Dicodes Dani #6 and Boxer SX350V2 26650 and have noticed voltage sag on dual coil builds.

I first started really noticing it on the #6 with a fairly fresh Purple Efest installed and was getting a low battery indicator while the installed battery measured 3.8V! The #6 does have an adjustable low battery mark so after pulling the Efest and replacing it with a Black Bisen I made sure that the voltage cut off was set to the lowest value. (I also swapped tanks to a single coil build)

On the boxer (which also has a 0.17ohm dual coil build) the battery indicator on screen will drop to ZERO when fired with an official 'Boxer 26650' battery installed if driving +20J. At 15J the indicator will drop to 1/4 from 95-100%.

I guess I need to pay closer attention to battery life. When I first started using the 26650 mods I was noticing battery life almost equal to my dual 18650 mods but then I slowly migrated to dual coil tanks with more power hungry builds.

Hopefully this gets answered kinda quick...I've always charged my batteries outside of the Stout, using a stand-alone charger. Unfortunately, I have forgotten both my charger and batteries at home, and I'm 250miles away.

Has anyone ever charged a battery via the USB port? Is this safe? Is it safe to do overnight?
    Thanks in advance!

I've never had any problems with my Stout either, but run it with basic Coil Builds and only run it at 10-15 watts. SO I get several days from the 2650 Battery.
I also would like to say that if you do have a problem and it's still under Warranty; I've found Vape Forward a great company to work with. I had a problem with my Vaper Flask Squonker and quickly they sent me an RMA to free ship it back to them , and within a week they had it back fixed and sent me the rest of the kit like new when it was returned. No Problem or hassle at all

I always charge mine via USB port and not been a problem so far, and using a 26650 in mine, gets charged every night, so fully charger for work the next day.

    Thanks Nailz ol buddy ;)

Digging around in the luggage this morning, and guess what I found...batteries and charger. So, I have a fresh 26650 today, and will be able to charge the other one tonight.

I've never used the Onboard/Inboard Charging myself and have 2 Basen 26650's I just swap out. But, as has been said, I would trust VF aka VS Devices if ever presented with a situation such as yours.
Besides, as long as these VF Mods have been out it is safe to say that IF there were ANY Issues with doing such, we would have definitely read/heard about it already by the ....-load on here and other Sites.
